You are hereby directed to call a special meeting
of the Members of the, Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect, to be held Monday evening, September 27th, 1926.

The President called the meeting to order .
The Clerk c alled the roll, all trustees responding present,
except Trustee Noll.
Thereupona plat of Castle .Heights subdivision, being a subdivision
of the S. * of the S. E. 4 of the N.W. 4 and the N. 2 -7/8 acres of
the E. * of the S.W.4 all in Section 34 Township 42 North, Range
11, East of the 3rd Principal meridian, Cook County, State of
Illinois, was presented.
1 C • It was duly moved and seconded that said plat be approved.

Ayes Beigel, Haas, Heide, Mecklenburg and Pohlman.

Motion carried, ayes five, nays none.
It was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded by Trustee Haas
that the ordinance for laying of water mains in Owego-Trail and

other streets be approved.
Roll Call
Ayes Beigel, Haas Heide, Mecklenburg and Pohlman.
Nays none.
Motion carried, ayes five, nays none.
The Board of Local Improvements transmitted to the President and
Board of Trustees a recommendation, President's estimate and a
draft of ordinance providing for the construction of a connected
system of water mains in Northwest Highway and Other streets and
avenues. Said recommendation, estimate and ordinance were read and
it appearing that the estimated cost of said improvement exceeded
the sum of $100,000.00, such ordinance, on motion made by Pohlman
seconded by Beigel , and unanimously carried on roll
call, was referred to the Committee on fire and water, consisting
of Charles Mecklenburg, Chairman, and Messrs. Haas and Noll, with
directions that said ordinance be published in full, together with
the recommendation and estimate, and that such other steps may be
taken as required by law, preliminary to the final passage of said
ordinance; and there being no daily or weekly newspaper published
.
in the Village Mount Prospect, the Board, on motion made,
seconded and unanimously . carried, designated the Cook County
Herald, a secular weekly newspaper published in the Village
of Arlington Heights, Cook County, Illinois, and which paper
has a circulation in the Village of Mount Prospect, as the
paper in which such recommendation, estimate and ordinance
shall be published.
It was duly moved seconded and carried, meeting adjourned.
