You are hereby direeted to oall meeting of the
Village Board of Trustees of tbm Village of Mount Prospect
for the purpose of making appropriation and to take up such
other business as may come before said Meeting to be held
June 17, 1826.

The President galled the meeting to order.
The Qlerk OAlled the roll, all trustees responding present,
except Trustee Noll.
It was moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded by Trustee Mecklenburg
that Clerk be directed to advertise for site 300 for s new
well, same bide to be opened July 6th, 8 P.M.

It was duly moved by Trustee Beige]. seconded by Trustee Naas
that Bngineer Qonsoer be instructed to prepare a plan and
specifications for a 16 inch well and buildings and equipment
for same.

Thereupon a plat of the Northwest Quarter (N.T.1 /4) of the
Northwest Quarter (N.W. 1/4) an the Northeast Quarter (N.S.1 4)
of the Northwest (Water (B.w.l 4) of Section Thirtyfeur (34
Township Porty .two (42) Range ,,even (11) Al. of the 3rd P.M. in
Qook Qounty, Illinois be approved and that lots on east side of
Block 16 be made the same as on the West aide.,

ORDINANCE OF ANNEXATION
WHEREAS a petition was filed on the 4th day of May A.D.
1926, under and in compliance with Section 1 of An act providing
for annexing and excluding territory to and from cities, towns and
villages and to unite cities, - towns and villages" approved April
10, 1872 and in force July, 1872, as amended, asking that there
be submitted to the vote of the people of the Village of Mount
Prospect at a special election, the question of annexation of
territory described as follows: The Northwest quarter (N.W.*)
of the Northwest quarter (N.W. ) and the Northeast quarter (N.E.4)
of the Northwest quarter (N.W. of Section Thirty -four (34),
Township Forty -two (42) North, Range Eleven (11) East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, which
said territory is contiguaoui to the said Village of Mount Prospect
and is not, and any part of said territory is not, embraced
within the limits of said Village, or within the limits of any
other incorporated city, village or town; and
WHEREAS said proposition was ordered submitted to a vote
of the people of the Village of Mount Prospect by an ordinance
of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
duly passed at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of May,
A.D. 1926; and
WHEREAS said election was duly and regularly held on
the first day of June, A.D. 1926, at which election the
question of the annexation of said territory was duly voted
upon by the qualified voters of the said village, with the
results that the question received a majority of all the

votes cast in said village at said special election in favor
of the annexation of the territory described above.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT, AND IT IS HEREBY, ORDAINED BY
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
The Northwest quarter (N.W. *) of the Northwest quarter (N.W. *)
and the Northeast quarter (N.E. *) of the Northwest quarter
(N.W. *) of Section Thirty -four (34), Township Forty -two (42)
North, Range Eleven (11) Eastof the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, annexed
to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk be and is hereby
authorized and directed forthwith to file a certified copy
of this ordinance, together with an accurate map of said
territory hereby annexed, duly certified by the President
of the Board of Trustees, in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds for the County of Cook and State of Illinois and to have
the same duly recorded there.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

Passed the 17th day of June, A.D. 1926, by the Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect and approved the
17th day of June, A.D. 1926, by the President of the Board of
Trustees of sa *d village.

regularly elected and acting President of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, and that the above and fore-
going is a true and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the
Board of Trustees of said Village on the 17th day of June, A.D.
1926 and was then and there filed in the office of the Village
Clerk of said Village on the 17th day of June, A.D. 1926.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand as
President of the Board of Trustees of said Village and caused .
to be affixed hereto the corporate seal of said Village at
said Village this 17th day of June, A.D. 1926.

I, NDWIN L. BUSSE; Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect,
do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of
an ordinance passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect on the 17th day of June, A.D. 1926 andmapproved by
the President of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect on the 17th day of June, A.D. 1926, the original of
which instrument is now on file in my office and entrusted to
my care and keeping as the legal custodiam thereof, and that the
records end seal of said village are in my care and custody,
as such legal custodian.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand as
Clerk of said Village and caused to be hereto affixed the
corporate seal of said Village this 17th day of June, A.D. 1926.

that an Ordinance making an Appropriation for Oorporate Purposes
of t .e Village ' of Mount Proapeot, Illinois, for the fisoal year
beginning May 1, 1926 and ending April 30, 1927. be passed.

Motion carried ayes five, nays none.
It was duly moved seoonded and carried that Trustee "was be
authorised to make arrangements with Mr. Geo. L. Busse for
pumping water, While Mr. Mulso is on his vaoation.
Tberupon the President appointed Messrs. Lewis Relwig and
William Sromoll as special polio. for the 6th of J*17 celebration.
It was duly moved seconded and oexried that said appointments be
oonourred in.
It was duly moved by Trustee Heide seoonded by Trustee Medklenburg
that Trustee Haas be authorised to order another Stop and Go sign
for Central and Main 3t.
