You are hereby notified to call a special
meeting for Friday June 5th 1925 for the pru rose of
receiving bias on the 1925 Water extensions #2 and to
take up such other business as may come before such
meetir.g.

The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding
present except Trustees Haas and Heide.
It was moved by Trustee Pohlman seoonded by Trustee
`.,..,.a Beigel that the bids be opened Motion carried.
The following bids were opened, W. L. Ward and
C. M. Porter & Co.
Therupon it was moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded
by Trustee Beigel that alll bids be rejected and that we
advertise for new bids, same to be opened on June 17th,
1925 at 8 o'clock P. M. at the Tillage Hall. Motion carried.
It was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded by
Trustee Noll that An ordinance for the levying and assessment
of taxes for the current fiscal year of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, commencing May 1, 1925 and ending
April 30, 1926. be passed.

Nays none.
Motion carried ayes four, nays none.
Resolution.
Whereas, there is not sufficient money in the Treasury of
the Villageto meet and defray the ordinanry and necessary
expenses thereof until the collection of the taxes levied
for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1925, therefore,
Be it revolved, that a fund be provided to meet all said
expenses by issuing and disposing of warrants drawn against
and in anticipation of the taxes now levied for the said
fiscal year beginning May 1st, 1925, for the payment of
all such ordinary and necessary expenses of such isillage,
that the said fund shall be in a total amount of $2000.00
or such portion thereof as Mall be needed to meet and 'defray
the said ordinary and necessary expense; that the warrants
drawn issed under the provisions hereof shall show upon their
face that they are payable solely from said taxes, when
oollected and not otherwise, and shall be received by the
collector of taxes in payment of the taxes against which they
are issued and -which taxes against which said warrants are
draw' shall be set part and held for their payment;
That the President he and hereby is authorized and empowered to
. sign and execute and the clerk to countersign all warrants and
instruments necessary for the carrying out of this resolution/
It was duly move° by Trustee Beigel, seconded by
Trustee Noll that said resolution be adopted.

Motion carried, ayes four, nays none.
It was moved by Trustee Pohlman seconded by Trustee
Beigel that the complaints about ice be turned over to the
Health Committee. Motion carried
The Clerk read the following communication:
May 28, 1925.
Mr/ William Busse,
Mount Prospect, I11.
Dear Sir: -
I am incleeing official permit giving you as
Mayor of the Village of Mount Prospect authority to go under
• .State Highway 58, State Aid Route f110 with a 10 inch water
pipe 20 feet north of the south line of Central Road and 20
feet west of the east line of Pine Street to the North line
of Central 2oad, location more definitely shown on attached
sketch being at Station 56/75.
