The President called the meeting to order.
The clerk palled the roll, all trustees except trustee

Minutes of the meeting of May 6th and May 20th were read
and same were on motion duly made, seconded and carried
approved as read.
The Treasurer's Report, as follows, was read and ordered
placed on file.

I hereby make application for permission to dig up
Prospect Ave. in front of Ioe Cream Parlor to oannect drain.

/application is hereby made by the Public Servioe 0o. of
Northern Illinois to perform work as specified below.
To install gas service pipe for F. Lueders Main & Milbourn,
Geo. Meier Main R.R., Herman Lampe Maple 3S Busse, Steer
Emerson 38 Busse also to repair Gas Valve at Central and
Main St., all in Village of Mount Prospeot.

It was duly moved seconded and carried that same be
granted.
Thereupon an ordinanoe for the levying and assessment of
Taxes for the current fiscal year of the Village of Mount
Prospeot, Illinois, oommenoing May lat, 1924 and ending April
30th 1925 was read.
It was duly moved by trustee Haas, seoonded by trustee
Beigel that said ordinance be passed.

Nays none.
Motion parried Ayes five, Nays none.
Thereupon the Finanoe Committee reported that the boobs of
the Clerk and Treasurer had been audited by them and that they
had been found oorreot.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Beigel, seconded
by trustee Haas, that we charge 50 oents per yard for ground
hauled away from publio grounds. Carried.
Thereupon the bond of Christian D. Busse for $10,000.00
with Bdeard Busse and Henry Holste as sureties was presented
and same was, on motion duly made, seconded and oarried,
approved.

Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Haas, seconded
by trustee Heide that the propostitn of Geo. Busse to
build a oement sidewalk on the North Side of the Playgrounds
for *300.00 was taken up and aooepted.

Motion oarried Ayes five, Nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Beigel seconded,
by trustee Mecklenburg that the chairman of the street and
sidewalk oommittee be authorised to install 2 sidewalks
crossings on Owen Street, 1 on Busse Ave. and 1 on Busse
and Willa St.. near John Meyn.

Motion oarried Ayes five, Nays none.
Resolution.
Whereas, there is not sufficient money in the Treasury
of the Village to meet and defray the ordinary and necessary
expenses thereof until the collection of the taxes levied
fer the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1924, therfore,
Be it resolved, that a fund be provided to meet all
said expenses by issuing and disposing of warrants drawn
against and in anticipation of the taxes now levied for the
said fiscal year beginning May let 1924, for the payment of
all such ordinary and necessary expenses of such village,
that the said fund shall be in a total amount of *2000.00
or such portion therof as shall be needed to meet and defray
the said ordinary and necessary expenses; that the warrants
drawn issued under the provisions hereof shall show upon
their face that they are payable solely from said taxes, when
collected and not otherwise, and shall be received by the
collector of taxes in payment of the taxes against which they
are issued and which taxes against which said warrants are
drawn shall be set aprt and held for their payment;
That the Presiden be and hereby is authorized and empowered to
- sign and execute and the clerk to countersign all warrants and
instruments necessary for the carrying out of this resolution.
It was duly moved by trustee Pohlman that said resolution
be adopted.

Thereupon it was moved by trustee Mecklenburg, seconded by
trustee Beigel that the Chairman of the Health and Drainage
Committee negotiate with the owners on the South Side about the
sewer tile which empties in Mr. Mulso's lot and see what can
be done with same.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, meeting
adjourned.
