April 1st, 1924.
The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll, all trustees responding
present.
Minutes of the meeting of March 4th and March 18th
were read and same were, on motion duly made, seconded and carried
approved as read.
The Treasurer's Report, as follows, was read and order-
ed placed on file.

Thereupon the clerk read the following bills, said
bills having been approved by the proper committees.

It was duly moved by trustee Haas, seconded by trustee
Heide, that sal$ bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue
warrants for same. ROLL CALL.
.Ayes: Gosch, Haas, Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg, Pohlmann.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon the clerk read letter from Henion & Hubbell
rearresting payment of 70 cents which had been deducted for freight
on tapping machine, they contending that the machine had not been
sold F. 0. B. destination.
It was duly moved by trustee Gosch, seconded by trustee
Mecklenburg, that the President be authorized and directed to
sign and the clerk to countersign and issue warrant for the sum
of .70 oents to Henion & Hubbell for freight on tapping machine,
payable out of the water leads fund, and a warrant for the sum of
$110.00 in favor of Frank Gerken for Maroh salary, payable out of
the maintenance and operation of Water Works Fund.

Ayes: Gosoh, Haas, Heide, Jahnoke, Mecklenburg,
Pohlmann.
Nays: None.
Motion oarried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon the President appointed the following as
judges and clerks for Election to be held April 15th, 1924:
Judges: - John P. Moehiing, Louis Dunteman, George
Busse.
Clerks: - Adolph Wille, Alvin* Mille, Fred W. Busse.
It was duly moved, seconded and carried that said
appointments be concurred in.
Thereupon Mr. Behrens of LesPiaines asked for permission
to use public play grounds on whioh to play ball games on the days
scheduled as home games for the Mount Prospect and Imanei Athletic
Club.
It was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann, seconded by
trustee Heide, that permission be granted to the Mount Prospect
Imanel Athletic Club ball team to play such ball games as are
scheduled as home games on the public Playg'r.o un s and also such
other games that they may be granted permission to play by the
Chairman of the Public Playgrounds committee.

Ayes: Gooch, Haas, Heise, Jahncke, Mecklenburg,
Pohlmann.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon trustee Pohlmann stated that Mr. Pahnke
desired permission to haul some earth from the village property
west of the Village Hall.
It was duly moved, seconded, and carried that said
permission be granted, digging of the earth to be done as
directed by the Chief of Police.
Thereupon it was moved by trustee Heide, seconded by
trustee Haas, that trustee Pohlmann be authorised to purchase
necessary meters, Buffalo boxes, corp. cook, curb cooks and
lead pipe.

Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, meeting
adjourned to 8 :00 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, April 15th, 1924.
