I, Henry J. Ehard, clerk of the VillaPe of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illino - Ts, and keeper of the
records and files thereof, do hereby certify that at an
election held in the villapo of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, on Tuesday, April 17th, 1923, the following

for the ensuing fiscal year and respectfully ask your con-

It was duly :moved, seconded and carried that said appointments
be concurred in.
Thereupon an ordinance providing for the regulation and manage -
ment of the water work system of the Village of Mount Prospect, and
establishing rules and regulations for the government of ;water con -
sumers and others, and regulating connections with said system
and establishinp rates and charges and license fees for
plumbers, was read and action on same was deferred to some
future date.
Treasurer's report, as follows, was real and ordered placed
on file.

It was duly moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee
Mecklenburg, that said bills be paid and the Clerk be directed
to issue warrants for same.

Motion carried ayes six - nays none.
Thereupon it was du1 :r moved by Trustee Haas, seconded
by Trustee Jahncke, that all unexpended balances of amounts
appropriated be transferred to the contingent fund.

Nays: None.
Motion carried ages six - nays none.
Thereupon it was moved and carried that Mr. Mecklenburg
• be given permission to chop off roots of trees that were raising
cement sidewalk in front of his property on dille Street.
Thereupon it was moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by
Trustee Gosch that the salary of Village Collector be set at
2' o of amount collected by him from May 1st, 1923.

Nays: None.
Motion carried ales six - nays none.
Thereupon the following appointment of the Village
President was read.

of the Village of Mount Prospect.
Gentlemen:
By virtue of authority conferred upon
me by law, I hereby appoint GEORGE BUSSE as Collector
for the ensuing fiscal year, and I respectfully ask
your concurrence therein.

It was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman, seconded by
Trustee Haas, that sail appointment be concurred in.

Thereupon an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance amendinP
an Ordinance entitled: An Ordinance for Licensine'.Automobiles,
Motor Trucks and Motorcycles in the Villas of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, Passed. Ma = 3rd, 1921 and Approved May
3rd, 1921." was read.
It Was duly moved by Trustee Pohlman, seconded by Trustee
Mecklenburg, that said ordinance be passed.

Thereupon an ordinance entitled, An Ordinance amendinP
an Ordinance Providing for the Organization of the VillaPe of
Mount Prospect, and PepulatinP Its Corporate Procedure." was
read.
It was duly moved by Trustee Jahncke, seconded by Trustee
Mecklenburg, that said ordinance be passed.

Motion carried ayes six -nays none.

Thereupon it was duly moved, seconded and carried that
the Clerk and Treasurer be directed to close their books
upon the payment of bills :approved at this meeting' and that
the Finance Committee be directed to audit books of the Clerk
and Treasurer.
Thereupon an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance Making
an Appropriation for Corporate Purposes of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, for tle Fiscal Year beginnino. May
1, 19 "3 and nding Arril 30, 1924," was read.
It was duly moved by Trustee Gosch, seconded by Trustee
Haas, that said ordinance be passed.
