Minutes of a speoial meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect held in pursuance of the
following order issued by the President.

Dear Sir:
You are hereby direoted t0 call a speoial meeting
of the President and Board of Trustees to be held at William Wills's
Hall Maroh 14, 1922 ;t 7 o'oloak P. M. for the purpose of oonvassing

such other business as may come before the meeting. Yours very truly

The President Called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll all trustees exoepting trustee
Beigel responding present.
Thereupin the board proceeded to oonvass the returns of the
speoial Election held marsh 14, 1922 between the hours of 7 A. M.
and 5 P. M. for the purpose of voting on the following proposition:
Shall bonds for the purpose of providing for a supply of water
for fire proteotion.and for the use of the inhabitants of the Village
of Mount Prospect, by the erection, oonstruotion and maintaining
of a system of water works for said village, including necessary
site, wells, pumps, reservoirs and all necessary equipment and con- -
neotions for the use and operation of the same, in the sum of
f9,000.00 be issued by the said Village.
Said canvass revealed the following result.
Yes :95 votes
Ho 23 votes.
It was duly moved by trustee Holste seoonded by trustee Gooch
that the proposition of issuing bonds as above provided be deolared
carried

Motion oarried Ayes five, hays none.
Thereupon bill from fudges and clerks of election as follows

It was duly moved by Trustee Heide, seconded by Trustee
Rolste that said bills be paid and that the olerk be directed to
issue warrants for same.
Roll Call.
Ayes: Clensing, Gooch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes five, nays none.
Thereupon a deed from Conrad Pedrowits and Engel Fedrowitz
conveying the right of way in and over the following described premises
to the Village of Mount Prospect was reaS by the clerk.
"That part of the North Bast Quarter (NB 1/4) of the South East
Quater (SE 1/4) of Seotion Twelve (12), Township Ferty -one (41)
North Range Eleven (11) East of the Third Prinoipal Meridian, bounded
as follows: Commencing at the South East oorner of said North , Bast
Quater (IE 1/4) of said South East Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section
Twelve (12) whioh is also in the center of the the public Highway
known as Mount Prospect Road, laid out along the deviding line between
the town -ships of Elk Grove and Maine; thence northerly along the
east line of Seotion Twelve (12) whioh is also the center line of
said publio Highway, to the intersection thereof with the southerly
line of the right -of -way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway
Company; thence Northwesterly along the Southerly line of the right-
of-way of said Railway to the intersection thereof with a line parallel
to and twenty feet (20') Westerly of the Easterly line of said Section
Twelve (12) ; thence southerly along said line parallel to and twenty
(20') Westerly of the easterly Line of said Seotion Twelve (12)
to the southerly line of said North East Quarter (NE 1/4) of said
South East Quarter (8 B 1/4) of Seotion Twelve (12) aforesaid; thence
Bast along the southerly line of said North Bast Quarter (NE 1/4)
of said South East Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Twelve (12) aforesaid,
to the place of begining, in the County of Cook and St of Illinois,
for all street and public highway purposes whatsoever, hereby releasing
and waving all rights under and by virtue of the Homestead Exemtion Laws."

to reinburse said Township of Maine to the amount of $50.00 upon said
Village receiving Cited Therefor from the owner.
It was duly moved by trustee Gooch, Seconded by trustee Heide
that the President be authorized to sign and the olerk to countersign
and issue a warrant for the cum of $50.00 in favor of the Township of
Maine to reinburse said township for money advanoed for the above mentioned
strip of land.

Ayes: Olausing, Gooch, Heide, Haste, Meoklenburg.
Nays: None.
Motion oarried ayes five, nays none.
On motion duly made seconded and carried the`j$diciary committee was
authorised and directed to investigate and report on an attorney for the
village.
