The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll all trustees responding present.
Minutes of the meeting of Deo. 6, 1921 were read and on motion
duly made seconded and oarried approved as read.
The treasurer's report as follows was read and on motion duly
made seconded and carried ordered placed on file.

Thereupon the clerk read the following bills said bills having
been approved by the proper committees.
Cook County Herald Pub. Treas. Report 4 10.00

It was duly moved by trustee Gosch, seconded by trustee Holste
' (:: that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants
for same. .
Roll Call.
Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon bills from Henry Mecklenburg for 24 hrs. labor for
laying tile at 4.40 per hr. for the sum of 49.60, Walter Pohlmann
laying tile 24 hrs at 4.50 per Hr. for the sum of 412.00 and Sam.
Gathmann laying tile 58 'hrs. at $.50 per hr. for the sum of 429.00
were discussed in referrence to the different prices being charged
by them.
It was duly moved by trustee Gosch, seconded by trustee Holste
that in view of the inclement weather these men were required to
work in the last two days in order to complete the laying of tile
before the ground froze up, that they be paid at the rate of 60 cents
per hour for 16 hours and the balance of time at the rate of 40 cents
per hour, and that the clerk be directed to issue warrants in favor

Henry Mecklenburg for the sum of p11.20 Walter Pohlmann for the sum
of 411.20 and Sam Gathman for the sum of 424.80.

Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon the clerk read the bill from the Northwestern Light
• and Power Co. for Dec. Street lights for the sum of 458.33 said
bill having been approved by the proper committees.
It was duly moved by trustee Gosch, seconded by trustee Beigel
that said bill be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrant
for same.

Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosch, Heide, Holste, Mecklenburg.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee. Gosch seconded by trus-
tee Beigel'.that the Street and Sidewalk cormAttee be authorized
to have hedges on north side of Central road near Emerson Street
cut down and that in the event they should not be able to obtain some -
one to cut same down for the wood that the work connected therewith
be paid for by the village.

Ayes: Beigel, Clausing, Gosch, Heide,Holste, Mecklenburg.
Nays: None.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon a petition signed by thirty residents of the village
of Mount Prospect requesting the village board to take steps towards
the building of a pumping and water station in Mount Prospect was
presented and discussed.
It was duly moved 'seconded and carried that the President be
authorized to arrange for a public meeting for the purpose of dis-
cussing the advisabilitry of building a village water -works and that
he invite an engineer toexplain tlnemethod of procedure the benefits
and probable cost of same.
On motion duly made seconded and carried meeting adjourned.
