March 2, 1920.
The President called the meeting to order.
The clerk called the roll all trustees responding present.
Minutes of the meeting of Jan. 6th and Feb. 3rd. 1920 were
read and on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read.
The treasurer's report as follows was read and on motion duly
made, seconded and carried accepted as readand ordered placed on file
General Fund.

The following bills having been approved by the proper commit-
tees were read by the clerk.
Henry J. Ehard contagious desease signs - -0 2.75

Northwestern L.& P. Co. Feb. Street lights 41.67

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp, seconded by trustee
Gooch that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue
warrants for same.
Roll Call.
Ayes; Beigel, Busse, Gosoh, Haberkamp, Holste, Pohlmann. Nays none.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon the clerk read a letter from the Chicago Telephone
Co. regarding excess charge Being made for 8 party service, in which
letter said telephone Co. asked for permission to continue charge-
ing as before untill they had installed service as specified in
ordinance, and that they would then rebate all excess collected by
them.
It was duly moved seconded and carried that the above mentioned
arraingment of charging and rebating by the Chicago Telephone Co.
be approved of.
Thereupon the clerk read the following resolution which had
been addopted by the Country Municipalities of Cook County organization/
as follows, " Resolved that the Country Town Municipalities of
Cook County go on record as being unaltorably opposed to the con-
solidation of the various municipalities of Cook County and the
City of Chicago goverment.*
It was duly moved , seconded and carried that the above mentioned
resolution as passed by the Country Municipalities of Cook County
be approved and that the clerk be directed to pause a certificate
of said approval to be filed with the secretary of said organization.
The Chairmann of the Street and Sidwalk Committee repotted
that he was unable to sell wood from the trees cut down by the
Chicago Telephone Co. to make room for teir wires and he recommended
that a public auction be held to sell said wood.
It was duly moved seconded and carried that a public auction
be held Saturday afternoon, March 6, 1920 at 3 o9olook P. M.
to sell said wood.
Thereupon an ordinance authorizing the Public Service Corp,
of Northern Ill. its successors and assigns to construct and operate
and maintain a gas distributing system in the village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County I11., was presented and same was on motion
duly made seconded and carried reffered to the judiciary Committee.
Thereupon the clerk raed a oontraot submitted by the Northwestern
Light and Power Co. as follows.
" This agreement made and entered into by and between the
Northwestern Light 11 Power Co, an Illinois corporation, hereinafter
referred to as the "Company" and the Village of Mount Prospect, a
municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "Village ",
-- ----- Witnesseth
The Company herewith agrees to furnish electric lights
for streets in the Village of Mount Prospect, said lights to be
twenty (20), or such futher number as may hereafter be installed,
100 watt Mazda lamps, to burn thirty (30) days per month from the
hours of twilight to 1:00 A. M. and the Village agrees to pay
annually therefor the sum of thirty ($30.00) per light payable in
monthly installments.
This contract shall extend for a period of one (1) year
from March 1, 1920.
It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Holste that said contract be awarded and the President be authorized
to sign and the clerk to countersign same.
