Minutes of a special meeting of the President and members of the
Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect held in pursuance of the
following order of the President.
"Mr. Henry J. Shard:

Dear Sir:
You are hereby direetst to call a special meeting
of the President and Members of the Village Board of the Village cf Mount
Prospect to convene Saturday evening. Sept. I3, I9I9 at the usual time
and place to take up such business; as may come before the meeting.

upon which order the clerk mailed the following notice to all the trustees
" Dear Sir:
Please take notice that a special meeting of the President
and members of the Village Board of the Village of Mount Prospect will
take place next Saturday evening Sept. I3, I9I9 at the usual time and
place to take up such business as may come before the meeting.

The President called the meeting to order.
The clerk called the roll all trustees responding present.
The clerk read the minutes of the meeting of Sept. 4, I919 and
same were on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read.
Thereupon the following bills having been 0. lied by the proper oommitt-
ees were read.

E. F. Rickard - - -- digging up ditch in school yd. ''8.80
Total 12.80
It was duly moved by trustee Gosch, seconded by Trustee Pohlmann
that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue warrants for
same.
Roll Call.

Busse aye Haberkamp aye Pohlmann aye.
Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
The President reported that the property owners along Main St.gauran-
teed 75% of the cost of grading and laying of an I8 ft. payment along
Main. St.
It was duly moved by Trustee Holste, seconded by trustee Pohlmann
that the treasurer be directed to pay such bills for work or material
on Main St. as are approved by the Finance committee and that re submit
said bills to the the village board at their next meeting.

Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved seconded and carried that the clerk be
directed to write to the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad regarding the
dangerous condition of crossing at Emerson St. and request the railroad
to station a flag man at said crossing at least for the duration of the
time that siding is full of cars which obstruct the view of the main track.
On motion meetin adjourned.
