The President called the meeting to order at 8.30 P. 1.
The clerk called the roll all Trustees excepting trustee Gosch
responding present.
The minutes of the meeting of April I, I9I9 were read and on motion
made seconded and carried same were accepted as read.
Thereupon the following bills having been 0. Ked by the proper
committees were read by the clerk.

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Busse that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to issue
warrants for same.

Motion carried ayes five, nays none.

Thereupon William Busse made application for permission to dig
up street for drain tile purpose from lot 21 Block 6 and lot I4 block
6 Busse and Wille's Subdn. to drain tile in Elm St. , also from lot I
flock I3 Busse and u &ille's Subd. along Busse Ave. to tile in Maple St.
and to lay a cement side -walk on west side of Elm St. from Heide's
property to Central St.
It was duly moved by trustee .Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Pohlmann , that permission to dig the above mentioned ditches and to lay
cement sidewalk be granted to Mr. Wm. Busse.

Motion carried ayes five, nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Pohlmann seconded by
trustee Busse that the clerk be authorized to purchase necessary stationery

Thereupon the clerk read a letter from the Chicago Telephone
Company, stating that the telephone Co. had plans under way to string
a cable from Arlington Heights to Mount Prospect, which would provide
necessary facilities to furnish Mount Prospect with service it was
entitled to.
The President and Board of Trustees thereupon proceeded to
canvas the votes of the election of April I5th. I9I9.
The following was the result revealed by said canvass.

It was duly moved by trustee Holste seconded by trustee Beigel
that William Busse be declared elected to the office of Village
President for the term of two years and Henry Haberkamp, Louis C
Busse and John W. Pohlmann be declared elected to the office of
Village Trustee for the term of two years.
