April I, 1919.
The President called the meeting to order.
The clerk called the roll all trustees responding present.
C The clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and same were on
motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read.
The treasurer's report as follows was read and ordered placed on file.

Thereupon a bill for 44.00 from Henry J. Shard for posting measle
signs and fumigating 3 schools was presented.
It was duly moved by trustee Holste, seconded by trustee Gosch that
said bill be paid and the clerk be directed to issue a warrant for same.

Motion carried ayes six, nays none.
Thereupon the clerk read the following bills , said bills having
been 0.ked by the proper commijtees.

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee Pohlmann
that said bills be paid and the clerk issue warrants for same.

Thereupon it was duly moved seconded and carried that the clerk be
directed to send a letter to C. Newberg, Roadmaster of The Chi. & N. W.
R. R. asking him to have _fence and fence poste along the R. R. right -
of way removed, from Emerson Ave . to Albert Wille spur.
It was duly moved, seconded and carried that the clerk be directed
to write to the Chicago Telephone Co. advising said company that complaint
regarding the congested condition of telephones had been received, and
that the Village board expected them to comply with regulations of
franchise given them.
Thereupon the clerk read a letter addressed to the Village Board
from Berth T. Lhard, said letter calling the attention of the board to
the improper trimming of trees opposite the depot and asking the board
to have said trimraing properly done and requesting that something be
to improve the surroundings of our depot.
Duly moved and carried that said letter be referred to the Street
and Sidewalk committee with authorization to due necessary work.
Thereupon the clerk read a letter from the Country Municipalities
of Cook County asking for the remittance of 42.50 for annual dues of
said organization.

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp, seconded by trustee Pohlmann
that the President be authorized to sign and the clerk to countersign
and issue a warrant for 42.50 for said annual dues.

Thereupon Mr. George Busse handed a comunioation to the clerk from
Edward J. Tobin, County Supt. of Schools , addressed to all school
officials , said communication asking the school officials that if no
ordinance prohibiting the location of any business which is noisy or
dangerous or detremental to the children near or adjacent to school
property were in force, that the school officials urge the village
officials to pass such ordinances.
Thereupon Mr. George Busse informed the board that he was informed
that the building of a public garage opposite the public schoolhouse
was contemplated , and asked the board to stop the building of said garage
opposite the school -house as it would be noisy and dangerous to the
children to have said garage across the street from the school house.
Thereupon the President introduced and the clerk read an ordinance
prohibiting the location or maintenance of any public garage within
certain distances from Schools, Churches etc. within the village of
Mount Prospect, in the Count of Cook, and State of Illinois, said ordi-
nance being designated as ordinance No. I8.
It was duly moved by truster; Haberkamp, seconded by trustee Busse
that said ordinance be passed.

It was duly moved and carried that meeting be adjourned to 8.30
P. M. April I9, I9I9.
The following were appointed to act as judges John Moehling, George
Busse, and Henry _Seigel, and the following as clerks Edwin L. Busse
Fred W. Busse, and Adolph Wille, of election at the election of April
I5, I9I9.
