APPROVAL OF MINUTES. OF PREVIOUS MEETING November 15, 1966
Amend to read, pg. 7: "The Committee now recommends, by a vote of Minutes
2-1, that the previous Board action be rescinded as to the three
sets of remaining pillarsand that they not be removed." Pg. 10:
Public Health and Safety Committee - "moved the Village Board
instruct the attorney to draft a proposed swimming pool ordinance."
Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Bruhl, moved to approve the
minutes as amended.

REPORT OF D.A.M.P. COMMITTEE MEETING

approval of payment of $1,500 from all four participating municipalities, report
As a result of having received approval, the Commission will have
further discussion with Consoer, Townsend and Associates to update
_ their feasibility report. The engineering firm has submitted a letter
indicating what the feasibility report will include. At a D.A.M.P.
meeting to be held November 29 the proposal will be considered. Cop~es
of the report will be distributed to each member municipality. The
study will be on (a) joint ownership of wells; (b) water from Lake
Michigan direct; (c) wazer from Lake Michigan via Chicago, Des Plaines;
(d) water from Lake Michigan with the "tree" towns. The maximum
figure for this study will be $7,000.

Request for bids and specifications has been drawn up. The Park proposal
District advises that actual area be staked out for physical inspect-
ion of Park administrative personnel before the easement is granted.
Public Works Director Creamer illustrated the well construction for
the benefit of the Trustees. A proposed schedule for well construction
was discussed and the Trustees felt the schedule was too lengthy, and
an attempt should be made to shorten the iime. Trustee Bergen
suggested Consoer, Townsend and Associates be hired on a fixed sum
basis.
ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Teichert, seconded by Trustee Grittani, moved the meeting be
adjourned. Unanimous approval. Time: 9:20 P.M.
