Prospect Village Board Dust on Highland Ave. Gentlemen: Highland Avenue from Elmhurst Street to Forest Avenue has become a dust bowl. Since the initial paving has been put in, heavy trucks have been using it to haul dirt. A lot of this dirt falls off the trucks and is churned to dust by the t~ucks and cars using the street. Any car or truck using the street raises a huge cloud of dust that settles over the nearby houses. It enters thro~$h doors and windows and settles on rugs and furniture. It has created an impossible situation that could easily be corrected by cleaning or oiling the street. We the following respectfully petition the Village Board to take action to alleviate this condition. Signed - Mrs. E. F. Thompson 520 N. Prospect Manor Mrs. L. W. Doolan 521 N. Prospect Manor Mrs. L.
