WE, the landowners of the We Go Park area, do petition the Village
of Mount Prospect in regard to the.~llowing matters:
WHEREAS, off-street play facilities for children are desirable from
a safety factor and whereas political scientists agree that proper
co~unity' planning should provide for play areas frequently inter-
spersed in residential areas, and
WHEREAS, the Town Development builders have contributed an area of
land for the use of the community and the village has accepted this
land, and
WHEREAS, the builders have put a sum of money ($4Q000) into escrow for
the development of this lahd, now therefore we make the following
suggestions:
1. That the village accept the offer of the land developer to cover
over the area with top soil.
2. That the area be seeded from the escrow funds.
B. That no fences be erected to destroy the pleasant atmosphere now
prevailing in this area.
4. That a decision be reached as to the disposition of this property
for the protection of the adjoining property owners and to prevent
the area from becoming a dump for refuse.
