The President called the meeting to order.
The Clerk called the roll all trustees , excepting trustees
Pohlmann and Gosch responding present.
The clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and same
were on motion duly made seconded and carried accepted as read.
Thereupon the clerk read the Treasurer's report as follows,
and same was on motion duly made seconded and carried ordered placed
on file.

Receipts 1.00
Total 50.02
Bxpenditures 4I.66
Balance on hand 8.36.
The matter of fire proteotion was discussed and the oommitteee
d to encourage on Fire & Water were urge e and assist the Volunteer t g
Fire Dept. to provide more adequate fire fighting apparatus.
Thereupon trustee Haberkamp moved and trustee Busse seconded
to authorize and direct the Street and Sidewalk Committee to do all
necessary road repairing.

Motion 'carried ayes four nays none.
Thereupon it was duly moved by trustee Holste seconded by
trustee Beigel that Pine Street be opened and graded.

Motion carried ayes four, nays none.
Thereupon trustee Haberkamp introduced the following resolution.
Resolution.
Whereas, there is not sufficient money in the
treasury of the Village to meet and defray the
ordinary and necessary expenses thereof untill the
oolleotion of the taxes levied for the fiscal year
(:: beginning Way, I9I8, therefor,
Be it resolved, that a fund be provided to meet
all said expenoes by issuing and disposing of warrants
drawn against and in anticipation of the taxes now
levied for the said fiscal year beginning May I, I9I8
continued
for the payment of all such ordinary and necessary
expenses of such Village. That the said fund shall
be in a total amount of $700.00 or such portion there-
of as shall be needed.to meet and defray the said
ordinary and necessary expenses; that the warrants
(2 drawn and issued under the provisions hereof shall
show upon their face that they are payable solely
from said taxes when collected and not otherwise,
and shall be received by the collector of taxes in
payment of the taxes against which they are issued
and which taxes against which said warrants are
drawn shall be set apart and held for their payment;
That the President be and is hereby authorized
and empowered to sign and execute and the clerk to
countersign all warrants and instruments necessary
for the carrying out of this resolution,
It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Holste that said resolution be adopted.

(2 The clerk thereupon read the following bills, said
bills having been O.Ked by the proper committees.

Total 44.79
It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Holste that said bills be paid and the clerk be directed to
issue warrants for same.
