The President called the meeting to order at 8 o'clock P.M.
The clerk called the roll all trustees responding, present.
The clerk read the minutes of the meeting cf Sept. 4th and
Sept . llth and sane were on motion made,seconded and carried
accepted as read.
The Treasurer's report showing a balance cf 147.19 and the
following balances in the various funds appropriated for , was
road by the clerk.

Therupon Trustee Wuerffel moved that the treasurer be
authorized and instructed to transfer 50.00 from the sallary fund
00.00 from the Bridge & Sidewalk fund and : 60.00 from the Contin-
gent fund , to the steet fund.
Said motion was duly seconded by trustee Pohlmann.

tees were read by the clerk.

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp , seconded by trustee
Pohlmann that said bills be paid and that the clerk be instructed
to draw vouchers for same.

The President read a letter from attorney Ralph L, Peck re-
garding electric light situation which had been left with him, in-
forming the board that it appeared that the most satisfactory arrain-
agement would be that a new copany be organized , which would take

over the electric light line , and preform all the electric light
functions in the village , and he suggested that board meeting be
continued for another week.

recess to next Tues ay evening Oct. ;th. 17 at. F.Y.
Oct. 9th 1917.

The electric light situation was discussed and it was reported
that a new company was being organized to take over the manufactur-
ing and distributing of electricity in Lt. Prospect.
It was thereupon moved by trustee Haberkamp, seconded by trus-
tee Pchl__,ann that the attorney be directed to draw up contract fcr
the village for street lights and a franchise granting the new
corporation the priviledge of ccr_ducting electric light business
in this village.

The clerk read a letter from the Treasurer interning the beard
that, re had received 0.00 from Henry Behrens Jr. as a donation
to the Village far placing crush stone in front cf his place cf
buiiness.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the treasurer be di-
rected' tc credit said 6 20.00 to the street fund.
Trustee Haberkamp reported that Pr. Henry Katz had applied tc
him fcr permieeion to deepen ditch cn the south side cf Central
St. and the West side of vlmhurst Ave. tc permit better flew for
water from his drain tile.
Said application was duly reff'ored to the Health & Drainage
committee .
Thereupon iir. 7dm. 7ville ask the board tc install a street
crossing over .Busse ave. east of V'ille St.
application was duly referred to the at.reet and sidewalk
committee.
Thereupon on motion made, seconded and carried meeting adjourned.
