Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the village beard.
The President called the meeting to order at 8.00 o'clock P.M.
(, The clerk called the roll all trustees , excepting trustee
Pohlmann,responding.present.
The clerk read the Minutes of the meeting of June 5th and
same were on motion made, seconded and carried, approved as read.
The tresurer's report as follows was read.

It was duly moved by trustee Haberkamp seconded by trustee
Wuerffel that said bills be paid and that the clerk draw vauchers
for same.

Thereupon it was moved., seconded and carried that the
assigning of what fend bills should be paid out of be deter-
mined by the Chairman of the Finance Committee acid the clerk.
The clerk thereupon reported that the Chicago Telephone
Company had rejected ordinance granting then: certain rights
in the Village, owing to the fact that said ordinance granted
the Village permission to stretch fire and police alarm wires
on their poles, but did not specify the amount of voltage to
be carried on said fire and police alarm. wires.
It was duly moved by Trustee Wuerffel, seconded by Trustee
aberkarnp, that the action taken on telephone ordinance at the
June 5th meeting be rescinded.

Thereupon Trustee Wuerffel introduced an ordinance grant-
ing the Chicago TelephoneCorrpany certain rights in the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, designated as Ordi-
nance No, 11 which was read by the clerk.
It was duly moved by Trustee Wuerffel, seconded by
Trustee Busse, that =aid ordinance be accepted and approved.

Thereupon Trustee Wuerffel intorduced an ordinance for the
levy and assessment of taxes for the current fiscal year commenc-
ing May 1, 1917 and ending April 30, 1918, designated as
Ordinance No, 12 which was read by clerk. It was duly moved
by Trustee Busse, seconded by Trustee'Wuerffel that said ordi-
nance be accepted and approved.

Thereupon the clerk read the following Grant of Easement
signed by H. W. Busse anti Name was ordered placed on file.
GRANT OF EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE uuITNESSETH that HENRY W. EUSSE,
of the County of Cook and State of fllinois,
grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of
one dollar ($1.00), conveys algid quit - claims to the

Village of Mount Prospect, a municipal corporation,
of the County of Cock and Stateof Illinois, grantee,
the free right of the grantee to drain and conduct
its sewage and drainage throus ht thelands of the
grantor, being in the South East Wuarter of the
outh last Quater f "ectio Thirty -four (i4),
ownship Fort
y -two t42) Nortli, Range Eleven'
(11), East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook
County, Illinois, and along the line 'f the present
drain, together wit the free right to connect
the sewer and drainage outlet of the said grantee
with the drain now located at the corner of
Central Street and East Street or the North Side
of Central Street, in said Village, and also the free
right to dig up the tile drain on the said land
hereinabove described, for the purpose of re-
pairing or attending to the outflow therein at
any time hereafter, which shall be kept ard
maintained in a ood and flowing condition, pro-
vided, however," that the Village will pay all damages
to the growing crops caused by said repairs.
WITNESS the hand and seal of the grantor
this 9th day of June, A.D. 1917.

The Chairman of the Health and Drainage Committee re-
ported that Mr. H. W. Busse desired a copy of said grant to
be signed by the President and Clerk for his record.
It was duly moved by Trustee Wuerffel, seconded by
Trustee Beigel, that the President and Clerk be authorized
to sign said Grant Of Easement for the Village.

The Clerk read the following Grant of Easement signed
by H. C. Reese and same was ordered to be placed on file.
GRANT CF EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that HENRY C. REESE,
of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook
and State of Illinois, grantor, for and in consid-
eration of One Dollar (._1.00) and in consideration
of laying Sixteen (16) inch tile through the lands
and premises hereinafter described, conveys and
quit - claims to the Village of Mount Prospect, a
municipal corporation, of the County of Cook and
State of Illinois, and Henry W. Busse, of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State
of Illinois, grantees, the free right of the
grantees to drain and conduct their sewage and
drainage through the lands of the grantor, being

the North East Quarter of the South Last Quarter
of Section Thirty -four (54), Township Forty -two
(42) North, Range Eleven (11), East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Cock County, Illinois, together
n with the free right to connect the sewer and together

free right to dig up the tile drain on the said
land hereinabove described, for the purpose cf

The Chairman of the Street Committee reported that
a car load of crush stone had b,en distributed on Prospect
Ave. and Central ttreet and that he had the roads scraped.
The chairman of the Health and Drainage Committee re-
ported that sewer connection with drain tile had been made.
Upon motion of Trustee Seigel, seconded by Trus-
tee Gcsch, meeting was adjourned.
