1917.
Minutes of the first meeting cf the village board of the
village of Mount Prospect, held at Wm. Wille's hall.
President William Busse called the meeting to crder at
o'clock P.M. all members being present towit- Henry Beigel,
Louis C Busse, Ernst Gosch, Henry Baberkarnp, John V Pohlman,
and Herman L Wuerffel.

Trustee Haberkamp introduced an ordinance providing for
the organization of the village of Mount Prospect , and re-
gulating its corporate proceedure , being designated as or-
dinance No. -1 -, which was duly read by the clerk and discussed
section by section by the board. There upon it was moved
by trustee Haberkamp and duly seconded by trustee Beigel
that the ordinance be passed and approved.

There upon trustee Haberkare introduced an ordinance
providing for the reF2:ulatien of Dram -shops and the licens-
ing thereof within the village of Mount Prospert , Cook
County, Illinois, designated ao ordinance No. - -2 - , which
was read by the clerk and discussed by the beard section
cY section .
It was dul, moved by trustee 'y uerffel and seccnded by
trustee Pohlmann that the ordinance be approved , prised,
and published accordinf__ to law.

Moved by trustee auerffel seconded by trustee Gosch that
the appointments of the president be concurred in

It was moved by Trustee Hf-d erkamp, seconded by Trus-
tee Pohlman, that the President's appointment be concurred
in.

President's dent's bond amounting to !,:: tee thousand dollars
(”,000.00) with Wm. Busse, Jr. and Albert 1SU:33e as sureties
was Tv'esented and a ^cepted, 1.1 renters voting aye;
The clerk's bond amounting to five hundred dollars
(1500.00) with Herman Haag and filbert trills as sureties
was presented and accepted, all members voting aye.
Thereupon it was moved by Trustee Haberkamp, seconded
by Trustee Pohlman that the clerk be authorized to purchase
a record book, an ordinance bcok and other necessary
stationery.
Motion carried - ayes 6 - nays none

The President presented a franchise of the Chicago
Telephone Company which was on motion duly referred to the
judiciary committee.
The following was the result of the drawing cf the
trustees to determine by lot who should receive the two year
term and who should receive the one year term.
