A RRGULAR MEETING OF THR PRESIDRWr AND BOARD OF
TRUSTERS OF T HR VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPROT , ILL.
HELD ON MAY MTH 1935,..T THS VILLA= HALL OF SAID
VILLAGE.
President Meyn called the meeting t• order and upon
call •f the roll the following were found to be present.
President Meyn, and Trustee's, , Greinke, Haws, Haberkaap,
Harrington, Hennix and Wille.
The Clerk then read the following letter:
I Edwin L. Busse, clerk of the Village of Mount
hroapect and State of Illinois and keeper of the records
thereof, as hereby certify that at an election held in
the Village of Mt. Prospect, Cook County Illinois, on April
16th, 1944 . the following named were elected to the *office
set opposite their respective names ant that each of then
has filet in ay *ffiee, the Oath of Office as required by

The President thereupon presented the following
letter to the. Board:

of Mount Prospect, Illinois.

By virtue of authority conferred upon me be
ordinance I hereby appoint the following committees for the
ensuing fiscal year and respectfully ask your concurrence
therein:

By virtue of authority conferred upsn me be
ordinance I hereby appoint, Dr Wolfarth, Rudolph Kruse
and Mrs Pankonin as asabers of the Beard of Health and ask
your ssncurrenae therein.

A motion was malt by. Trustee Wille and seconded
by Trustee Harrington, that the Presidents appointments to
the Beard of Health be concurred in. The, elerk called the roll
with the following result: Aye: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp,
Harrington, Hennix and Wil le . Nay: None.
Therupen the fallowing letter was presented:

ordinance I hereby appoint William Multi*, Chief of Police,
Supt. of Buildings, Supt. of Water merits and Comaissiener
of streets, and ask your concurrence therein.

It was moved by Trustee Haas ant seconded by Trustee
Greinke that vthe Presidents appointment of William Mulse be
concurred in. The roll cal skewed the following result:

I hereby appoint Frank Bieraann, Chief of the Fire Dept. and
ask your concurrence therein.

It was mimed by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee
Willa that the appointment of Frank Bisrmsnn as Cheer the Fire
Dept. be a enaurred in. The clerk called the roll with the
result as follows: Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Habe rkamp, Harrington,
Hennix, and Ville. Nays: None.
The Clerk then read the fallowing letter:

Gentlemen:
By virtue of authority conferred upon Sao try
ordinance I hereby appoint John Beneis as water rates
collector and respectfully ask your concurrence therein.

Trustee Haas mate a motion that the Presidents
appointment of John :nets as water rates collector be
concurred in, said motion being seconded by Trustee Greinke.
Upon the roll call the following result was obtained:

It was reeved by Trustee Harrington and .sounded by
Trustee Haberkamp that. the matter of Liquor License be held
for further discussion. The motion was carried by a vote of
acclamation.
It was *aimed by Trustee Hennix and seeen&ed by
Trustee Greinke that the Board accept the check of li. J.
Shard for six months liquor license, and that the balance
be paid before July 15th, 1935, and that the sage consider-
ation be given the other liquor dealers in the village.
The Clerk called the roll with the following result: Aye:
Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Ville. Nay
Nene .

A not ion was made by Trustee Henix ant seconded
by Trustee Harrington that permission be granted the Veterans
of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, to sell Poppies in
the village en May 27th, 1935. Said action being carried by
1 a Tote of acclamation.

• Trustee Haas moved and Trustee Hennix seconded a
CO notion that the letter from the State Sanitary Water Board
dated May lot, 1935, be referred to the Village Attorney
W end tibt he appes.r at the hearing to be held en May lath,
1935. Motion carried by a vote of acclamation.
• It was mover ay Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee
Harrington that the petition regarding sirculers ant Adver-
tising matter be referrea to the Judiciary committee for
further motion. Motion carried by a Tote of acclamation.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkaap and seconded
by Trustee Greinke that bias be obtained for Liability and
Property Damage Insurance en the Fire Truck. Motion being
carried by °a vote of acclamation.
• A action was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded
by Trustee Haas that the report from the Health Board be
placed • on file. Motion eariied by vete of acclamation.
• It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded
by Trustee Haas that Attorney Thal be delegated to make
arrangements with the Chicago Laundry Owners As sec iatien
to furnish bend twice the amount of the license. Motion
carried by a rote of acclamation.
It was move,.. by Trustee Greinke and seconded
by Trustee Haas that bids be obtained for 1500. vouchers
ant 2000 - letter heads, same bide to oe opened at the next
Board meeting. istion carried by a vote of acclamation.

I said meeting it was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by
Trustee. Haaerkaap that the meeting be adjourned. Motion
