MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD QF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT.
PROSPECT, ILLINOI3, HELD ON THE
7TH DAY OF MARCH 1939. AT THE
VILLAGE HALL.
President Besander called the meeting to order and upon.
the clerk calling the ro4 the following trustees were found to
be present: Trustees- Greinke, Baas, Haberkamp, Ha- •rington, Utz
and Wille. Trustee Hennix was absent.
The minutes of the ''ebruary meeting were approved as read.

The following report of the treasurer was accepted as read
on a motion made by Trustee Haas and secondby Trustee Greinke.

The Special ` report was - approved on a motion
made by Trustee Haberkamp and second of Trustee Wille.
The following bills were approved for payment on a motion
made by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee Harrington. The
vote on said motion was as fellows: Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp
Harrington and Wille. No nays.

It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Haas, that an ordirmznce relating to the ownership and control
alA and licensing of dogs be passed. Said ordinance was passed by :3
the following vote --Ayes Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington and
Will.- No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Haas, and seconded by Trustee
Mille that an ordinance providing for the issue of bonds of
0 the Village of Mt Prospect, jock County Illinois in the sum of akl
$10040.00, for the purpose of constructing, altering improving
and repairing of streets, and providing for the collection of a
direct annual tax for the payment and principal of and interest
on said bonds, be passed. Said ordinance was adopted with the
following vote- Ayes Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Barrington and
Mlle. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Harrington and seconded by Trustee
Haberkamp that an ordinance providing for the submission of an
ordinance authorizing the issuance of $10,000. General obligation

at an annual election to be held in the village on Aprtl.18th,
1939. be passed. Said ordinance was paste :h 'the fallowing

A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee 7 6 ]
Greinke thet a resolution with respect to funds to pay Ten thousand
dollars, general obligation street improvements bonds of the
Village of Mt Prospect Illinois, be passed. The resolution was
passed with the following voter'Ayess Greinke, Haas, 4aberkamp, Harr
Harringtan,.and Wills/ No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinka
that the board concur in the Presidents appointment of the following
for Judges and clerks in the election to be held on April 18th, 1939.
Rudolpk Kruse, Judge, Geo. L. Busse, Judge, Mrs- "er*et, Judge. and
Mrs Geringer and Mrs Freitag as clerks. The motion was oarried with
the following vote, Ayes= Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington and
Ville No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Barrington that a discount' of 50% on business l ieensees and dog
licenses be granted if paid br let, 1939. The moti�„n was
carried with the following v•te�s, areinke, Haas, Haberkamp
Harrington and Mille no nays.
o . It wa s moved by Trustee Haberkamp and second by Trustee
Greinke that an ordinace for the purpose of authorizing the Illinois
1P Bell Telephone Co. t• hereafter render aer,rfae to tb�e vi lade and
the fire department in connection with any fire palls that may be
made, be passed. The ordinance was adopted by the following vote,
.yes: Greinke, Haas, 4 aberkamp, Harrington, and Wille No nays.
Amotion was made by Trustee Mille and seconds by Trustee Haas,
that in accordance with the petition submitted by the Busse'e east-
ern addition to Mt Prospect property owners association, Fred Ville
Village Treasurer is hereby designated as depository for said funds
and to be deposited in the Mt Prospect State Bank and held in escrow
for the property owners, and iunpintanoxtitt upen recreipt of all
money the Village Board will then enter into a contract with Milburn
Brothers for paving certain streets in accordance with said petition.
The motion was passed with the following vote. Apse* Greinke, Haas,
Haberkamp, Harrington, and wills No nays.
