MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF e
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MT
PR08FECT, ILLINOIS, HELD ON
THE 2ND OF MAY 1939.
President Besander Called the meeting to order and upon
the clerk calling the roll the trustees were found to be
present, Trustees: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington and Wille.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved
on a motion made by Trustee Hennix and seconded by Trustee Greinke.
It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee 1111e
that the following treasurers report be placed on file. The motion
was carried.

• It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Haas that the special assessment report be placed on file. The
motion was carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee
Hennix to transfer balances from one account to another in order to
balance. The motio# was carried with the following votes Ayes:
Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington, Hennix and Willa, No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Grair
that the following bills be paid. The motion was carried with the falh
following vote Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Harrington and Mille
no Nays.

the Preddint and Beard of Trustees t
of the Village of Mt Prospect, Ill.
held on the 2nd Day of May 1939.
President Besander called the meeting to order and upon
the clerk calling the roll the, following trustees 'Were found to
be present, Trustees Btnaley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkaw, Mortimer
and Wille.
The clerk then-read the following letters
I Edwin L. Busse clerk of the Village of Mt Prospect, 111.
and keeper of the records thereof, do hereby certify - - that *Van
election held in the Village of lit Prospect on the 18th days of
April 1939, Edwin Haberkamp, John D. Bincley and William Mortimer
were elected to the office of Trustee of said village and that
each of them has fflec in my office the oath of office prescribed
by law. Signed Edwin L. Busse, Village Clerk.
The President then presented the following letter to the
board t
00 By virtue of authority conferred upon me by ordinance I
hereby appoint the following committees for the ensuing term of
the fisoal year and respectfully ask your concurrance therein.

It was moved by Trustee - Mia Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Haas that the committee appointments be concurred in. The motion
was carried with the following votes Ayes: Binkley, Greinke,
Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No Nays.
The following letter was also stead to the board.
By Virtue of authority conferred upon me by ordinance I
hereby appoint the following persons to the Board of Health.
Dr. Alfred Wolfarth, Consultant M. D.
Mrs. R. A. - 6andeen, R. 1N.
firs. Margaret Dahlstrom R.N.
A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by
• Trustee Mille that the Beard of Health appointments be conferred
in. The motion was carried with the - following vete Ayes* Binkley
Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille No Nays.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Haas that the fantail% V. F. I. and American Legion be permitted
to sell poppies in the village on Poppy day. The-- mettien was
carried by - a vote of acclamation.
A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by
Trustee Binkley that the following should be the building oOmmittee
Trustees B. J. 'Mlle. John Binkley and Wm Mortimer. The motion
was carried.
It was moved by Trustee Binkley and seconded loy Trustee
Haberkamp that a reolutien declaring the results of an election
held April 18th, 1939,'in the Village of Mt Prospect, Cook Cointy
Illinois and oonfirming sale of bonds authorised thereat, be
passed. Skid resolution was adopted with the following vote, Ayeet
Binkley, Greinke, Haag, Haberkamp, Mortimer & Wine. No nays.

It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Mortimer that the license fees for the Country Club be $75.00 per
snrnum, as it was operating as a semi private club. The motion
was carried with the following vote Ayess Binkley, Greinke, Haas,.
Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee
�1'�• Greinke that the village purchase a Motorola Radio from M. B.
£ppleyard for the sum of 62.!• The motion was passed with the
following votes Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer
and Wille. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Binkley to pay Arthur Gooch the sum of 3140.00 per month and to
put him on as a regular police officer. The motion was carried with
the following vote, Ayess Hinkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp,
Mortimer and Ville. NO nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Mortimer to pain the Water tank as per the bid of Jamos Hanlow and -
Sons 3185.00 outside and 365.00 inside. The motion was carried with
the following votes Ayess Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer
and 'Mlle. No nays.

There being no further business to come before mid meeting
it was regularly moved seconded and passed that same be adjourned.
