MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF t
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT ILLINOIS HELD
ON JUNE 6TH 1939. AT THE
VILLAGE HALL OF SAID VILLAGE.
President Besander called the meeting to order and upon
the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found to
be present, Trustees, Binckley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and
i tille. Trustee Haas was absent.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Greinke that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as
read. The motion carried.
The 11 win report of the treasurer was approved on a

The Special assessment report was approved on a moiton
made by Trustee Haberkamp and second of Trustee Greinke.
It was moved by Trustee Greinke that the following bills
be paid, same were approved with the following motion. Ayes:
Trustees, Binckley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays

A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by
Trustee Greinke that Willert Beer be paid the sum of *1453.50 as
attorneys fees fbr contesting various suits against the village.
The vote on said motion was as follows. Ayes, Trustee Greinke,
Haberkamp and Wille. Nays none. Trustees Binkley and Mortimer
passed their vote. Said motion was carried by above vote. .16
4.,, was moved by Trustee Binkley and seconded by Truotee
Mortimer ti the bill gf Lybrand Ross Bros. and Montgomery be
paid in the amount of *750.00. The motion was passed with the
ffollowing vote Ayes: Greinke, Binkley, Haberkamp, Mortimer and
Wille. No nays. X
A motion was made by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Mortimer that the matter of Copper water exetension pipe "be referrd
to the building committee for investigation. The motion was carried.
It was moved by Trustee Binkley and seconded by Trustee -
Mortimer that the agreement of James F. Boyland to refund the
ltaer extension bonds and the Fire Equipment Bonds of the village be
accepted. The motion was carried with the following vote. Ayess
Binkley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and 'Sille. No nays.
A motiom was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Greinke, to purchase ten signs for the police department covering
traffic regulations. The motion was oarried with the following vote
Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Mortimer to increase the street light it Central and Main etrets
from 100 to 250 candle power with a central suspension. The
motion was carried with the following vote. Ayes; Greinke, Binkley
Haberkamp Mortimer and Wille. No nays. .
A motion was made by Trustee Bonkley and seed by Trustee
Mortimer that the license fees far laundry trucks Ihmuld be $5.00 per
year with a discount of 50% provided they were purchased within 30
days. The motion was carried with the following vote: Binkley, Greinke
Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee Wille
that the report of Mr Binkley on the Firemens Insuranoe -be accepted
and that the village keep the workmens compensation insurance. Motion
was carried.
* A potion was made by TrusteeBinkley and seconded by Trustee
Mortimer that the village have Samuel Wodika represent them in the
Special assessment case. The motion was carried with the following
vote. Ayes, Binkley Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Wille and seconded by Trustee Mortimer
that the resignation of Willert Beer as attorney for the village be
accepted. The motion was carried with the following vote, Ayes$
Binkley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Binkley and seconded by Trustee
H aberkamp that We do not return our special assessments in as de-
linquent for 1939. The motion was carried with :the following vote,
Ayers Binkley, Greinke, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille. No Nays.
There being no further business to come before said meeting
