THE MINUETS OF A REGULAR
ME&TIN1 OF THE PRESIDENT &
BOARD OF TRUSTS OF THE
VILLA 1E OF MT PROSPECT,
HELD ON NOVEMBER 7, 1939.
The minuets of the October meeting were read and approved on a
motion made by Haberkamp and seconded by sreinke.
It was moved by Trustee Ville and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp
that the following report of the treasurer be placed on file. The
motion was carried.

It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Wille
that the special assessment report be placed on file. Motion
carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Has and seconded by Trustee
Jreinke that the following bills be approved for payment. The motion
was carried with the following vote. Ayes: Binkley, sreinke, Haas,
Haberlamp, Mortimer and 'Dille. No nays.

It was moved by Trustee Greinke and seconded by Trustee
Binkley that a discount on the village vehicle licenses, of 42.00
be allowed if paid by February 29th, or within 30 days of vsmaizas
atxxxxxxxxxx new persons moving into the village. The motion - was
passed with the following vote, Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Haas,
Haberkamp. Mortimer and `Mlle. No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by
Trustee Greinke designating The First National Bank of Chicago,
and the Mt Prospect State Bank ^s official depositories for the
monies of the Village. The motion was passed with the following. vots
Ayes Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille No nays.
Mr. L. E. Hodges, President of the Lions Club,xpid
stated that the Lions Club wanted to erect a toboggan slide- fbr`the
village, said slide to be turned over to the Village, as a part of
its parks and playground e4uipment, when completed. On a motion
made by Trustee gaberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke, the
tatter was referred to the Parks committee for action. The motion
was carried.
Mr. Hodges also stated that the Lions club wished to
purchase a number of street signs for the village, and requested
that the proper committee from the board meet with a committee pf
Lions, so that a uniform sign system could be worked out. The
matter was refferred to the streets and sidewalks committee for
action, on a motion made by Trustee Haas, which was seconded by
Trustee Mortimer and passed.
It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Greinke that a Motorola Radio for the police car be purchased for
the sum of $137.00. The moton was passed with the following vote,
Ayes$ Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp. Mortimer and Mille. No nays.

A motion was made by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by
Trustee Haas, that the balance in the 2% fund fund be turned over
to the Fire Department. The motion was pasaeu with the following
vote, Ayes:..Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille
No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee
Hinkley that Dr. Wolfarth be allowed to spend around $10.00 for a
filing system and school childrens record for the Health Department.
The motion was carried withtheffellowing vote, Ayes: Hinkley, Greinke
Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer and Wille No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Mottimer and seconded by
Trustee Greinke, that a cancelleing machine be purchased, to be
used for cancelling bonds, etc. Said motion was passed with the
folliwng vote, Ayes: Hinkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer
and Wille. No nays.
There being no furthervbusiness to come before said
meeting same was regularly adjourned on a motion made by Trustte
Haberkamp which was seconded by Trustee Wille.
