M INDUS OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF AV
MOUNT PROSPE T ILLINOIS HELD ON
FEBRUARY 6T14 1940. AT THE
VILLAGE HALL.
President Besander called the meeting to order and upon
the clerk calling the roll the following Trustees were found to
be present. Trustee Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp,Mortimer and
Mlle.
C The minuSen of the previous meeting were approved on a
m otion which was made by Trustee Binkley and seconded by Trustee
Haas.
The following report of the treasurer was approved on
a motion made by Trustee Greinke which was seconded by Mortimer.

The Special assessment report was order placed on file
on a motion made by Trustee Haberkarnp and seconded by Trustee Greinke.
It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee
Haberkamp that $15.00j\be paid James Hanlon for painting " City of
Progress" on the water tower. The motion was car-ied with the
following vote. Ayes; Binkiev, lreinke, Haas, Haberkarip, Mortimer
and Wi11e. No nays.
A motion was made by Trustee Ha is ar d seconded by Trustee
Mortimer that the following bills be paid. The motion was carried
with the following vote: Ayes: Binkley, Grein ce, Haas, Haberkarr:p

A motion was made by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee
Haberkamp, confirmin the action of the judiciary committee in carrying
the case to the appelate court. The motion was carried with
e following vote Ayes: Binkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer
and 'Mlle. No nays.
It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seoonded by Trustee
Haas that the board get a written opinion from the village attorney
regarding the legality of transferring of the 2% collection item.
The motion was car -ied with the following vote Ayes: Binkley Greinke.
Haas, Haberkamp. Mortimer And Wille. No nays.
A motion was mad by Trustee Mlle and seconded by Tru
Greinke that should the written opinion from the village attorney,
advise that the transfer of such funds was legal, said funds shall
be transferred from the special assessment fund. The motion was
carried with the following vote Ayes: Hinkley, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp
Mortimer and Wille. No Nys .
Q It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Yille
f that the amended tax levy ordinance be pa3sed. The motion was carried

A motion w s made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee
Greinke, that a resolution designating the Mt Prospect State Bank and
The First National Bank of Chicago as depositories of the funds of
the village. Said motion was passe-? with the following vote. Ayes:
Binkley Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp Mortimer and 'Mlle. No Nays.
There being no further business to come before siad meeting
same was regularly adjourned on a motion made by Trustee Haberkamp
seconded by Trustee Greinke.
