President Besander called the meeting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following trustees were found to be present. Trustees,, Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer, Pendleton and Wille. ''he minites of the previous me .ting were approved on a motion made by Trustee Greinke which was seconded by Trustee aaberkamp. The following report of the treasurer was ordered placed on file on a motion made by Trustee Haberkamp which was seconded by Trustee Wille. TAX FUND: Bal. on hand 24.48 , The special assessment report was placee on file on a motion mad by Trustee Greinke seconded by Trustee Mortimer. It was move by Trustee 'Mlle and seconded by Trustee vreinke that the following bills be paid. The motion was carried with the following vote. Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp Mortimer, Pendleton and Wille. No nays. Zinkel ✓ 3.75 222 It was moved by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Greinke to accept the recomendation of the Health Committee to purchase the necessary serums and supplies to conduct a T.B. test of the school children. The Motion was carried with the following vote. Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp Mortimer Pendleton and Wille No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee 'Mlle that owners of certain bonds of certain special assessments call for monies on hand, and that no interest will be paid after date of publication. The motion was carried with the fallowing vote Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer, Pendleton and 1111e. No nays. It was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee Wille that the village advertise for bids to wreck the building on lot 148, Colonial Manor subdivision, known as 213 S Ioka St. at Mt Prospect Illinois, bids to be opened Sept. llth, 1940 at 81 *clock P. M. The motion was carried with the fol1lowing vote. Ayes: Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer, Pendleton and Wille. A motion was made by Trustee Pendleton and seconded by Trustee Mortimer to transfer $157.41 from the water extension fund to the principal & int. waterx`tension Bond fund to pay interest on water extension bonds. The motion was carried with the following vote Ayess Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer Pendleton and Wille. No nays. It was move by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee ``aberkamp to buy the 1941 vehicle tags from the Chaicago Decal - co. for the sum of $39.50 -- 650 Auto sticker and 50 truck sticker: • The motion was ea ried by the following vote Ayes: Greinke, Haas Haberkamp. Mortimer Pendleton and Wille. No nays. A motion was made by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trsuetee Greinke to give the Lions Club permission to have their Pall Festival on the corner of Maple street and the Northwest Highway. The motion was ca ried by a vote of acclamation. The time being so late the meeting was adjourned until September 11th, 1940 at 8 *clock P.M. II 223 MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED PRATING OF THE P iESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ILLINOIS, HELD ON SEPTEMBER 11th, 1340. President Besander called the meeting to order and the following trustees were found to be. present on the roll call. Trustees Greinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer, Pendleton and Ville. It was moved by Trustee Wille and seconded by Trustee Mortimer that the bids for wrecking the building at 213 Ioka St. be opened. he motion was carried. A motion was made by Trustee Pendleton and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp that the board accept the bid of Henry J. Hasz. for $61.2 ?Yproviding he paysthis amount for wrecking the house not completed at 213 Ioka Street. The motion was carried with the following vote. Ayes; Greinke, Haas, l 'aberkam), Mortimer Pendleton and Ville. No nays. It Was moved by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee 'Mlle that the matter of License fees for building; contractors be referred to the building committee to prepare an ordinance W for the Village Boards consideration. The motion was carried by a vote of acclamation. There being no further business to come before the meeting it was regularly moved seconded and passed to adjourn. •
