President Besander called the mebting to order and upon the clerk calling the roll the following trustees were found to be present, Trustees: 3reinke, Haas, Haberkamp, Mortimer, Pendleton and Title. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved on a motion made; by Trustee Pendleton secord'A by Trustee Haberkamp. A motion was passed to place the special assessment report of file, said motion was made b Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Haberkamp. It was moved by Trustee Pendleton and seconded by Trustee Mortimer that the necessary action be taken regarding the sun of 22,767.55 which was turned over to ?red iiile, present treasurer by C. D. Busse, former 7illage Treasurer, as per letter of Pearce and lranata. The motion was carried by a vote of ac ?lar. ation. motion was mad by Trustee Mortimer and seconded by Trustee Pendleton, that the •Jlerk call an election for the purpose of electing a President, Clerk, three trustees and a Police na;istrate and to order the necessary suoplies for said election. The motion was carried by a vote of acclamation. It was moveu by Trustee Haas and seconded ay Trustee Mortimer that the following bills be paid. The motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Pendleton andseconded by Trustee Mortimer that a court reporter be hired for the village attorney covering the Wolf case. The motion carried. A motion was made bj Trustee Haberkamp and seconded by Trustee Mortimer that a coal stove be bought for the pump house. and that the use of the oil stove be discontinued. The motion was carried with the following vote; Ayes: Jreinke, Haas. Haberkamp, Mortimer ' [I Pendleton and Wille. No nays. Mortimer T It was movec by Trustee l..ortimer and seconded by Trustee Y Y Pendleton that the police eornnittee investigate the feasability of having a night watchman and to report same to the next meeting.
