Minutes of a Regular meeting
of the President & Board of
Trustees of the Viliaze of Mt
Prospect, Illinois, held on
March 4th, 1941. at the Vil1ave
Hall, lit Prospect Illinois.
President 3esander called the meting to order and
upon the clerk cubing the roll the following trustees were
found to be present, Trustees 3reinke, Haas, Ha,berkamp,
i
Mortimer, Pendleton and "7111e .
The :minutes of the previous meetings held during
the month of 3ebraary were aooroved on a motion made by
Trustee Pendleton seccniei by Trustee Haber_kamp.
It was move() oy Trustee Haueritulap and seconded oy

The following letter wasxread by the cleric:
To the Honorable Presilent,
& Board of Trustees ofthr
Village of it 2rospect, Illinois.
.gentlemen:
The undersisned, Maurice Pendleton, by this instrument,
does hereby tender hia resignation as a merna3r of the 3oard of
Trustees of the Village of Mt Prospect, Illinois that he be relieved
of his duties and oblisations arising thereunder as of March 5th, 194
Signed M. J. ` endleton.
It was thereupon moved oaf Trustee Haberkamp and seconded
by Trustee Wille, that the resignation of M. B. Pendleton as Trustee
be accepted with regret. The motion was carried oy a vote of
acclamation.
A motion was made by Trustee lreinke and 3?.onded by
Trustee Haberkamp that one Trustee should oe elected to fill the
vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Pendleton, and that the
term should be for two years the balance of the term unnerved by
M. B. Pendleton. The motion was carried by a vote of acclamation.
It was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee "Bile
that 600.00 be transferred from the load & Bridge :Fund to the
Vehicle Fund. The rnotien was carried with the folLowin; vote Ayes:
lreinke, Haas, Haoerkamp, Pendleton and '7i11e. No nays
A Motion was made by Trustee Haberkamp and seconded oy
Trustee 3reinke, that a free vehicle license be given to H. L.
Scharrinshausen. The motion was carried.

It was move. by Trustee lreinke and seconded by Trustee
"Ville that a Free 7e license be issued to 3. J. Ahmer, the
vote was as foliwos Ayes: rreinke, Haas, Pendleton and '7ille. 711
Trustee Haberk voted Nay.
A motion was mad by Trustee Haoerkamp and seconded by
Trustee 3reinke, that a 50% discount be allowed on all business
licenses purchased befor June lst 1941. The mstaxxxxxxvote was as
follows Ayes: 3reinke, Haas, Haoerkamp, Pendleton and T9ille. No nays.
It was move. oy Trustee Lille and seconded by Thustee
Pendleton to return all certiffied checks on bids except those of
Meades and Milburns. The motion carried.
There bein_g no further business to come before said
rneetin& it was regularly moved, secbnded and passed to adjourn.
