Gentlemen:
By virtue of authority conferred upon me by
Ordinance, I hereby appoint George Whitten'trg as Chief
of Police of the Village of Mt. Prospect, and Arthur Gosch
as Police Officer for a period of two years.

the said appoitments be concurred in.

A petition with signatures of thirty nine persons was
prsented by Mr. James J. Walsh and read as follows:

June 3rd, 1941.
To the President and members of the Village Board
Mt. Prospect I11.
Gentlemen:
Calling your attention to the uncompleted sidewalks
on Northwest Highway • the same being a menace to the safety
and a great inconvenience to the many residents of the North
East section of our Village, we the undersigned request of this
Board the reminding of the above condition by the installation
of sidewalks from Owen Street to Elm Street on Northwest Wgway.
This petition was referred to the Streets & Sidewalk* committee
for investigationand to report back at the next regular meeting.

Mortimer, seconded by Trustee Haberkamp, the meeting tAP
be adjourned.
