gaVe the opinion that this couid~not legally be done because
inactiVe fends may Be inVested only in U. S. Treasury bills.
The President stated that in connection with the financing
of the necessary improvelsuts to be made to the waterw~k~
of the Village, that Erst & ErnSt, the Certified Public Accountants
emplo~ed by ~the Village for the purpose of auditing the financial
recess of the Village, had audited the ffig-~res pertaining to the
operat'iou of' the mater~orks ~tam of' the village for the lest fiscal
year ending July 31, 1959 and had further analyzed the pertinent
provisions contained in each of the ordinances heretofore adopted
end authorizing[ the several issues of mater re~enue bonds of the
Village heretofore is.sued and now outstanding with re-peet to the
restrictive covenants contained in the several ordinances concerning
the. issnanee of additional bonds on a parity with and to share ratably
and equally in the ear~ings of. the waterworks system with the
particular bonds provided to be issued under the term~ of such
several ordinances.
l~hereupon the special audit was pressured, reviewed and
discussed,
Trustee $chlaver Loved and Tr~tee Oaw seconded the'motion
that the special audit be approved and upon the roll being called
the following Trustees voted A~E~ Airey, Caeterline, Ekren, Daw,
Norris and achiever. The roll,sing Trustees. voted NAY~ Noue.

audit approved.
The'l~es~dent then stated that at this ~eeting there ahould
be considered .the i~provee~nte necensary to be made to the watereorks
syete~ of the Village and the Clerk pro tern then pressuted the
detailed plans, epueiftcatione a~d estimate of the cost of the
propose~d· improvementa as prepared by Consoer, T~maend & Associates,
of Chicago, ~llinois, the engineer~ retai~ed by the Village for the
purpose of preparing the same. A' reprose.ntative of said ffir~ of
e~gineare then reviewed said pla~, specifications and estimate of
the c~st and affter a full and
co~plete diecuaeien therefor and the
means of finane~_~g the same, Tm~eeSch!aver m~ved and Trustee Alley
eeccuded the loti~ that .said ~]ane,. epec!ficati~ne, and estimate of
cost be approved end ~led for public in~t[ou in the office of
the Vii[age Clerk.
Affter a discnssion of said moti~,~ thef~resident dll~eeted the Clerk
