IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN THE VILI~GE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT ON MARCH 22, 1960
The meeting was called to order at 8:09 P.M. by President Lams.
Upon roll call, the following trustees answered Present: Trustees Airey roll call
Casterline, Gaw, Norris and Schlaver. Absent, Trustee Ekren.
Trustee Casterline, seconded by Trustee Gaw, moved that the
minutes of the meeting of March 15th, 1960, be approved as submitted, minutes
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Gaw, Norris and
Schlaver. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
Trustee Gaw, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved that the
bills for the week of March 22, 1960 be approved as follows:
General $10,344.28
Parking System Rev. 5.33 bills
Library 383.54
Water, Operation 9,056.57
Water, surplus 48.23

$19,835.95
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Gaw, Norris and
Schlaver. Absent, Trustee Ekren. Whereupon the President declared the
motion carried.
Trustee Airey, seconded by Trustee Norris, moved that the Board of
Village Attorney be authorized to prepare a resolution defining special Appeals
meetings of the Board of Appeals and adjusting the fees established by Zoning
the Municipal Code for the Board of Appeals hearing~ and -also Case 59-28
authorizing the Village Attorney to prepare an ordinance amending the
Municipal Code regarding payment of said fees to the members of the
Board of Appeals. The foregoing is in regard to Zoning Case 59-28.
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Gaw, Norris and
Schlaver. Absent, Trustee Ekren. Nays, none. Whereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
President Lams read letter from St. Paul Lutheran School asking
permissionto block off Busse Avenue next to the school during play Lutheran
periods in order to protect the children from busy traffic. Discussion School
was held, and the Village Manager was asked to make a survey of the Traffic
site.
Village Manager Appleby read,letter from Chicago & Northwestern C &NWRR
Railway stating that the Mount Prospect station is on the list for Depot
this year to receive repairs to the railroad ties and depot. Repairs
Mr. Appleby bronght up the subject of various insurance
coverage held by the Village. It was decided to refer the insurance Insurance
program for the coming fiscal year to the Finance Committee, for program'
study and recommendation.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved fc~
adjournment, and the meeting was regularly adjourned at 8:4? P.M.
