PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TR~BTEES HELD
IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING i~N THE
VILLAGE OF MT. PROSPECT ON MARCH 15, 1960
The meeting was called to order at 8:20 P.M. by President LamsY
Upon roll call, the following trustees answered Present: Trustees roll call
Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw, Norris and Schlaver.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Airey, moved that the minutes
of the previous meeting be approved as submitted. The President put minutes
the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following respomse:
Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw, Norris and Schlaver. Nays,
none. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Airey, moved that the bills
for the week of March 15, 1960, be approved as follows:

The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
followi~ response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw, Norris
and Schlaver. Nays, none. Whereupon the President declared the motion
carried.
Trustee Gaw, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved that the Financial
~Financial Report of the Village Treasurer for the month of February, 1~60 report
be approved and placed on file. The Presid~t put the question, the
Clerk called the roll, with the roll. owing response: Ayes, Trustees
Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw, Norris and Schlaver. Nays, none. Whereupon
the President declared the motion carried.
Trustee Schlaver, seconded by Trustee Norris, moved that the Water mmin
plans and specifications for School Street water main as prepare by loop -
Consoer, Townsend & Associates (C.T. & A. 60-B6) be approved, and the School St.
Village Manager be directed to secure bids on this work as soon as
possible. (See minutes of Feb. 9, p. 44?).
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw,
Norris and Schlaver. Nays, none. Whereupon the President declared
the motion carried.
Trustee Schlaver suggested that preliminary investigation be
made with Des Platnes and Arlington Heights regarding the possibility water
of mutual assistance in the event of water emergencies.
Trustee Airey, seconded by Trustee Norris, moved for the passage
of proposed Ordinance ~?11:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT Zoning
PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED Case 60-B
This ordinance rezones property belonging to Annen & Busse on Northwest
Highway and Edward St. from R-1 to Business; Zoning Case 60-B.
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Ekren, Gaw,
Norris and Schlaver. Nays, none. Whereupon the President declared
the motion carried and Ord. #?11 passed.

Village Attorney Downing gave his advices regarding wa~er
Water Revenue revenue bond ordinance involving the sale of $118,000 in bonds for
Bonds for Well #6. Trustee Schlaver, seconded by Trustee Airey, moved to
Well #6 adopt the notice of sale and authorize the Village Clerk to cause
to be forwarded said notice to such bond houses as may be deter-
mined by the corporate authorities of the Village of Mt. Prospect.
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with
the following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Ekren,
Gaw, Norris and Schlaver. N~s, none. Whereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
DiMucci suit Village Attorney Downing reported on the status of the DiMucci
case. A stipulation of fact has been entered into and briefs will
be filed in March and April.
Trustee Casterline, seconded by Trustee Gaw, moved that the
Village Village Manager be authorized to secure bids for a 6-cylinder staff
staff car car for Village use. The President put the question, the Clerk
called the roll, with the following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey,
Casterline, Ekren, Gaw, Norris and Schla~er. Nays, none. Whereupon
thePresident declared the motion carried.
Bridge repairs Mr. Edmund Stevens, 805 S. Emerson, arose and thanked the
Board for their prompt action in erection of guard rails on the
b~idge across the Creek. (See minutes of Feb. 2, p. 441).
Trustee Airey, seconded by Trustee Norris, moved for adjourn-
ment, and the meeting was regularly adjourned at 9~16 P.M.
