MINUTES OF A REGULAR MONTHLY
MEETING HELD IN THE VILLAGE
HALL AT MT ILLINOIS
BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES ON THE FIRST DAY OF
JUNE A.D.1943. •
The meeting was called to order by President Besander, the roll ,
being called the following Trustees were found to be presents.
Greinke, Haas,-Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax, Wills.
The minutes - of the previous meeting were then read, and it was
moved by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Mott, that same be
accepted as read. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff
that the Treasurer:'e report be accepted as read. Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee Wax that the
Special Assesstment report be placed on file. Motion carried.
A letter under date of June lst, 1943 signed by President I.E.
Besander to the Honorable Board of Trustees, recommending the
following citizens of Mt. Prospect to act on Zoning Committee
for the ensuing two years was then read. The names included,
Mr. Vaughn Bacon, Mr. Kermit K. LeMay, Mr. Norman Falkanger,
Mr. John Kob and Mr. Wm. Mortimer to act as Chairman.
It was moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee Wax that the
the names be accepted as mentioned.
Ayes Greinks ,Haas,Kirchhoff,Mott,Wax,Wille. No Nayes. Carried.
A letter under date of June 1st, 1943, signed by Presidebt
Besander to the Honorable Board of Trustees recommending
Mr. Valenti a Weber,Mr. Paul Ward, Mr. A.C.Dresser, Mr. Wilbur
J. Trunkeynd Mr. S.W.Harrington as Chairman to act on Plan
Commission was read. It was moved by Trustee Greinke, seconded
,, by Trustee Wills that all be accepted for the ensuing two years. _
Ayes. Greinke ,Haas,Klrchhoff,Mott,Wax,Wille No Nayes Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Greinke, seconded by Trustee Wax that the
deposit on Water Meters be raised to $ 15.0tl,nd a resolution be
drawn to the effect and addopted.
Ayes:Greinke, Haas ,Kirchhoff,Mott,Wax,Wiile.No Nayee.Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Greinke, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff,
that the price on Water Meters on new homes be raised from $ 35.00
to$40.00.i\
Ayes: Greinke, Haas ,KircHrff,Mott,Wax,Wiile.No Nayes Motion carried.
Following was the introduction of Dr. Piszczek, who gave an elabo-
rate speech, answering numerous questions to the satisfaction of
everyone present and recommended the revision of our Health Ordi-
nance for the benefit of our community.
In appreciation to his personal interest the Board thanked him
wholeheartedly.
It was moved by Trustee Wax,seconded by Trustee Mott that Busse Ave
between Elm and Owen Sts, be closed to the Publis from June 12th,
to June 14th,' and barricaded for the use of annual Lutheran
School picnic-. Motion Carried.
A Petition which was filed. at the previous meeting in reference
to the acceptance of N. Wille St., by the Village a report was
made at this time by Mrrustee Wax. He has gone into this thoroughly 1
and made a motion to reject the proposal. The motion was seconded
by Trustee Wille. Motion Carried.
Chief George Whittenberg has been authorized by the Board to
send notices for fees and collect for various signs displayed
in Mt. Prospect..
It was moved by Trustee Wax,seconded by Trustee Greinke that nece-
ssary paint be purchased and lines be painted for parking spaces.

It was moved by Trustee Haas, seconded by Trustee Greinke that the
above approved bills be paid.

It was moved by Trustee Greinke, seconded by Trustee Wax that a
refund be made to the Mt. Prospect Fire Dept. fcr beer permit.

It was moved by Trustee Kirchhoff,seconded by Trustee Haas, that
a liquor charge be made and refunded to the Veterans of Foreign Want
Ayes: Greinke ,Haas,Kirchhoff,Mott,Wax,Wille No.Nayes. Carried.
Upon investigation Trustee Mott, reported to a letter signed by
0.S.Johnson in regards to condition of Vandalism existing in Park
adjoining his property. Trustee Mott offemed certain suggestions
requesting that the public cooperate.
It was moved by Trustee Greinke,seconded by Trustee Wax that lzr±kz
this meeting be recessed tutu Tuesday June 15th, so that other.
business brought before this meeting uncompleted may be resumed.
