PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, °BY THE PRESIDENT &
BOARD OF TRUSTEES ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER
.16, 1943.
The meeting was called to order by the President at 8:00 P.M.,
The roll being called,the following Trustees were found to be present: Kirchhoff,
Mott, Wax and Wille. Trustees Greinke and Haas absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of October 5, 1943 were read and it was
moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Wax they be accepted as read. Motion
carried.

er's be accepted as read. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Willis. No

It was moved by Trustee Wax, secnded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the Special
Assessment Report be placed on file. Motion carried.
The following letter was then read by the clerk:
"To the Honorable President and Board of Trustees, Village of Mt.
Prospect, Illinois.
Gentlemen:
In accordance with your directions, the Zoning Commission
has prepared amendments to the existing zoning ordinance and respectfully
submits them for your consideration.
We further recommend that you call a public hearing after
fifteen days notification, at which time all interested parties may be
heard.
We submit herewith a copy of the ordinance together with
a zoning plan of the town, that is to be a part of the ordinance.

The amended ordinance and zoning plan was then referred to Mr. Henry 0. v%
Nickel, Village Attorney, to prepare the notification for a Public Hearing f
and return to the Village Clerk for publication. -L
It was moved by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Wille that the follow-
ing resolution by adopted:
RESOLVED, that a public hearing be called in connection
with the amendments to the zoning ordinance as recommended by the
Zoning Commission. Said public hearing to be held in the Village
Hall of Mount Prospect, Illinois, on Tuesday, December 14, 1945.
Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No Nayes.

It wa's moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the bills be ,,,
approved for payment as read: Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax, and Wille. No nayes.
It was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the Mount ``
h` Prospect State Bank and the First National Bank of Chicago, continue as de-
positories for the funds of Fred G. Wille, Village Treasurer and Collector.
Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No nayes.
It was moved by Trustee Kirchhoff that he be authorized to purchase for the
Village, e. used 1936 Dodge truck, for the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars
(250.00),from the City of Des Plaines. Said truck to be repaired and used for
the collection of garbage. The motion was seconded by Trustee Wax and passed .
by the following vote: Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No Nayes.
A letter from Mr. A. Wild, an Attorney, was read and referred to the Judiciary
Committee for investigation.
Trustee Wax presented to the Board, a request from the Trust Company of Chicago,
as Trustee, for permission to improve the roadways in I -Oka Street and Hi -Lusi
Street, from the north line of Sunset Road to the north line of Golf Road, within
1 the Village. Submitted with this request was a resolution to be adopted by the
Village Board , relative to the improvement of these atreets,,which President
Besander referred to Trustee Wax for report at the next meeting.
Trustee Wax also reported that the sewer gratings to be installed by Mr. Wolf
on Wille and Gregory streets, would be in place by the 27th of November.
It was moved by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the Village
purchase 25 Ton of crushed rock to be used for the repair of streets. Ayes:
Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No Nayes.
There being no further business to come before this meeting, it was moved by
Trustee Kirchhoff, seconded by Trustee Wille that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion carried.
