TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
OCTOBER 4, 1960
The meeting was called to order by President Lams at 8:08 P.M. roll call
and the following trustees answered Present: Airey, Casterline,
Norris and Schlaver. Absent, Trustees Ekren and Gaw.
~ Trustee Airey, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved that the
I minutes of the previous meetin~ for September 27th be approved as minutes
submitted. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll,
with the following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline and
Norris. Pass, Schlaver. Absent, Gaw and Ekren. Whereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
Trustee Casterline, seconded by Trustee Schlaver, moved that Traffic -
the Village Manager make provisions for temporary direction of traffic 1 way at
northerly between Henry and Thayer Streets on North Owen Street Bu§se School
~0 during a reasonable time period prior to and after, and continuously
QO during, school hours on school days.

The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
fei. lowing response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Norris and Schlaver.
Absent, Ekren and Gaw. Whereupon the President declared the motion
carried.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved that the
following bills for the week of October 4 be approved for payment:

Parking System Rev. 1,161.80

Water 4,~B6.67
$22,939.64
The President pu~ the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
fotlowin~ response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Norris and
Schlaver. Absent, Ekren and Gaw. Whereupon the President declared
the motion carried.
Trustee Scblaver complimented the Fire Department for their Fire Dept.
efforts in calling attention to Fire Prevention Week and holding
Open House at this time.
Trustee Norris reported that his committee had met with Sewers -
officials of the high school District and that drainage problems Randview Hi~h-
of Pr6spect High School were discussed; and that the school lands & school
officials appeared agreeably inclined to dedication of perimeter St. dedication
land for the other hal~ of streets which heve already been put in.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Airey, moved to accept
for the Village a charge for payment of electric current for operation Traffic
of traffic signals within its corporate limits, at Mount Prospect Mt. Prospect
Road and Northwest Highway, and to authorize the President and Rd. &NWHwy
Clerk to sign such agreement with the Division of Highways of the
~=- State of Illinois.
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following response: Ayes, Trustees Airey, Casterline, Norris and
Schlaver. Absent, Ekren and Gawo Whereupon the President declared
the motion carried.

Trustee Atrey, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved to
Court Case 80-S-17B40 authorize the Village Attorney to represent the Village
Delgado vs Village of Mount Prospect in suit brought by Leo Delgado,
(From Zoning Case 60-16) Pioneer Trust & Savings Bank, trustee, in Superior
Court Case 60-S-17340, Cook County. The President put the question,
the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes,
Trustees Airey, Casterline, Norris and Schlaver. Absent, Gaw and
Ekreno Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
Mr. Thomas Haskett, assistant to the Village Manager,
IF, Serafine's reported regarding the ~fforts of the Village to require Serafine
Brd Add'n Builders to finish their installation of trees, sidewalk and paving
around their property on Edward Street north of Central Road~ and
the cleanup of the area at Albert Street north of Central Road,
stating that progress is being made along these lines.
Trustee Norris, seconded by Trustee Casterline, moved for
adjournment, and the meeting was regularly adjourned at 8:S? P.M.
