IN THE VILLAGE _-TALL, IN THE VILLAGE �
OF :MOUNT PRJSiECT ON JULY 28th, 1944.
The meeting was called to order by the President at 8 :20 P.M., and upon
calling of the roll, the following Trustees were found to be present: ureinke
Haas, Mott, Wax and gills. Trustee Kirchhoff was absent.
The Clerk then read the following letter:
Mr. Roy E. Schlemmer, Village Clerk,
Mt. Prospect, I11.
Will you kindly call a special meeting of all the
members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mt. Prospect,
I11. for 8 P.M. Friday evening at the Village Hall, Mt. Prospect,
rum I11. for the purpose of discussing the new well with the Village
Engineers who have all the deta necessary at this time to start on
r
the new well. Other matters may poesiely also by brought up at
this time. Yours very truly,

Mr.. Faulkman , engineer for Consoer, Townsend and Associates, after being
presented to the Board, eutlined the engineering procedure, facts and figures
for a well to be drilled 1500 to 1550' in depth at an overall cost of $27,000.
It was Mr. Faulk.lan' s opinion that such a well would produce from 300 to 565
gallons of water per minute. Discussion of obtaining Chicago water was also
entered into. President Besander suggested that the Judiciary and dater Com-
mittees meet to compile comparative figures of both plans and that the Village
engineers proceed with filing of the application for priority with the ;Dar
Production Board.
It was moved by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee .Ville that the
Veterans of Foreign ;Pars Post #1537, b permitted to hold their Carnival at
the intersection of Maple and 'Evergreen Streets on August 23 to 27th, 1944
inclusive. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before this special meeting, it
[:: was moved by Trustee Haas and seconded by Trustee Wille that the meeting be
adjourned. Motion carried.
