HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/14/1944 VB minutes 442 MINUTES OF A SrECIAL MEETING uF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL, MT. PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, ON THE 14TH DAY OF DECEMBER 1944 A.D. Due to a conference meeting relative to the bids for construction of a new well, the meeting was called to order by President J3eaander at 10:30 P.M. The roll being called, the following Trustees responded: Haas, Kirchhoff, Mott,' Wax and wille. Trustee Greinke was absent. The following order by the President was then read: December 11, 1944 Mr. K. 6, Schlemmer, Village Clerk Mt. Prospect, I11. Lear Mr. Schlemmer. Kindly call a Special meeting of the Village board of Trustees, for 8:00 P.M. Thurada December 14th, 1944, at the Village Hall, Mt. Prospect, I11. 'This meeting is to be called for the purpose of letting the contract to the lowest bidder on the proposed new well and water pump, and other matters of importance incidental thereto. A motion was made by Trustee Kirchhoff and seconded by 'Trustee Wax, that the Village accept the J. P. Miller Artesian well Company bids on Contract No. 1 and Contract No. 2 submitted on December 5th, 1944, subject to the Village Engineer and Village Attorney arranging a proper and satis- factory contract between the J. P. Miller Artesian well co. and the Village of Mt. Prospect and to the final approval of the Board of Trustees. Ayes: Haas, Kirchhoff, Mott, wax rnd wille. No nayea. It was moved by Trustee Kirchhoff, seconded by Trustee wax that the meeting be adjourned to December 20th, 1944. Motion carried. /
