PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD
IN THE VILLAGE HALL, MOUNT PROSPECT,
ILLINOIS, ON THE 6TH DAY OF MARCH,
1945 A.D.
The meeting was called to order by President Besander at 9:15 P.M.
the roll being called, the following Trustees were found to be present:
Kirchhoff, Mott, flax and wills. irustees Greinke and Haas were absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Feb. 6th and the adjourned
meeting of reb. 20th were read, and it was moved by Trustee wax and second-
ed by Trustee Wille that they be accepted as read. Motion carried.

the Treasurer's report be accepted as read. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, wax

A motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that
the bills be approved for payment es read. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax
and wine. No nayes.
A motion was mode by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Wille, that in
accordance ''ith the amended water ordinance, the *5.00 deposit be refunded
to the following citizen:

Glaeser for repairs to the damaged fire hydrant at the corner of Emerson
and Lincoln Streets, be approved. Motion carried.
it +es moved by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Wills, that per-
mission be granted to Briar -Crest Homes, Inc. to burn the weeds on the
property known as the H. Roy Berry addition to Castle Heights in Mt.
Prospect. Also, to surface grade Gregory St. from Pine St. to Elmhurst
Rd. and Russell St. from sregory St. to Memory Lane, with the under-
standing that no stone or other material be applied to these streets,
and that said grading shall be done under supervision of Mr. Mulso,
Commissioner of Street se Motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff, that
the Board authorize the purchase of two storage batteries for the pegs
Viliege trucks. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No nayes.
It was moved by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Wille that the
J. P. Miller Artesien Fell Company's request to hire the following
sub- contractors be approved: Mt. Prospect Electric Construction Co.,
Porter Sewer Tile Co., end Emil Sporleder. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott,
wax and Wille. No nay's.
The following report of the Plan Commission was then read:

Village of Mt. Prospect.
Gentlemen:
Enclosed is the proposed plat of Prospect Gardens
which you referred to the Plen Commission
The plan has been rejected by the Plen commission
due to con - conformity to numerous requirements as set
forth in the "Official Plan of Mt. Prospect ".
A suggested revised plan is hereby submitted,
covering this same area, which we suggest be passed
on to the subdivider for his consideration. The
revised plan meets all of the requirements of the
Official Plan.

A motion was made by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Mott that
the Board reject the proposed plat of Prospect Gardens and that the
Clerk be instructed to forward the revised plan to the subdivider as
recommended by the Plen Commission. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Mott , seconded by Trustee

WHEREAS, Barcus, Kindred & Co. and Enyart, Van Camp & G o. , Inc.
hes agreed to purchase not more than 014, 000.00 of 1944
general corporate fund tax anticipation warrants bearing
interest at the rate of One and Five - eighth percent (1- 5/870
and to pay for said warrants par, plus premium of rifty
Cents (.50) per #1,000.00 tax warrant and accrued interest
from August 15, 1944;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the sale to
Barcus, Kindred & Co., and Enyart, Van Camp & Co., inc. of
04,000.00 of 1944 general corporate fund tax anticipation
warrants, being numbered C -21 to C -28 inclusive, bearing
interest at the rate of One and Five - eighth percent (1- 5/870 F.,
rt par and accrued interest from August 15, 1944, be and
the same is hereby approved and confirmed,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that delivery of said tax anticipation
warrants be made pureuant to the terms of an ordinance
entitled "An ordinance proving for the issuance of 1944 tax
anticipation warrants of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois" passed and approved on the first day of
August, A. D. 1944.
Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No nayes.
The following citizens were appointed by President Besander as 455
judges ?.nd clerks for the Village election to be held an April 17, 1945:

There being no further business to come before this meeting, it was
moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Wille thp.t the meeting be
adjourned. Motion carried.
