HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/03/1945 VB minutes MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, ON THE THIRD DAY OF APRIL, 1945 A.D. President Besander called the meeting to order at 8:30 P.M. Upon calling the roll, the following Trustees were found to be present: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, wax and Wille. Trustee Hags was absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of March 6th were read, -nd it was moved by Trus'tee wille and seconded by Trustee Mott that they be accepted as read. Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, Nax and Wille.. No nayes. It w -s moved by Trustee Kirchhoff and seconded by Trustee Nille that the special assessment report be placed on file. Motion carried. Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and rWi11e. No nayes. A letter denying the request of Krause and Kehe for re- zoning the property known aethe Huecker Garage Building, by the Mt. Prospect Zoning Board was read and placed on file. Notice of a public hearing to be held on a petition for an amendment to the zoning ordinance of Cook County, Illinois, at 7:30 P.M. on April 5, 1945, in the Mount Prospect Village Hall, was read. The clerk was instructed to notify the Mt. Prospect Zoning Board and Planning Uommission of said public hearing, and report. A motion was made by Trustee Kirchhoff and seconded by Trustee Wille that the sample ballot for the Municipal`be and that the Board of Trustees authorize the printing of 1100 Official Ballots. Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, i1ott, Nax and Nille. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Kirchhoff and seconded by Trustee Mott that the public be informed of Sections 8 & 11 of the Garbage Ordinance, whereby it shall be unlawful to deposit ashes or rubbish on vacant or improved property within the Village. Motion carried. A letter under date of April 3, 1945 from Albert L. Roderick, offering his services for the annual audit of the Village adcounts and records for the year ending April 30, 1945 was read and placed on file. It.was moved by Trustee Wax, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the proposition presented by Albert L. Roderick in his letter be Accepted. Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Willa. No nayes. A motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded by Trustee Nax that the Village Attorney proceed in a settlement of the Ohio National Insurance Co. Judgement with the funds now available amounting to $60.07. Vim. o r. ; Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, Nax and Wille. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Max that a Speci Meeting be held on April 17, 1945, at 8:00 PM, in the Village Hall, for the purpose of c :nvrssing the votes of the Municipal Election. Ayes: Greinke, Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Wille. No nayes. There being no further business to come before this meeting it was moved by Trustee Kirchhoff and seconded by Trustee Wax that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
