HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/17/1945 VB minutes 458 MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, HELD ON THE 17TH DAY OF APRIL, 1945 A.L. President Besander called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. and upon calling of the roll, the following trustees responded: Haas, Kirchhoff, Mott, lax and sille. Trustee Greinke was absent. The President stated that the meeting was being held for the purpose of canvassing the votes of the Municipal election. A motion was m de by Trustee Haas -nd seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the votes be canvassed. Motion carried. The canvass showed the f ollLwing results :', FOR PRESIDENT: Maurice B. Pendleton 299 votes Frank U. Schott - 12 " Frank Schott - 5 vim. C. Schott - '1 vote Judson Lee - 1 " Frank C. Schotts - 1 FOR TRUSTEES: Russell A. Hartwig - 305 votes Theodore A. Lams 508 " Fred E. Welsh - 309 Louis Krohn - 1 vote Frank Kilcrece - 2 votes FOR CLERK: Roy E. Schlemmer - 317 votes FOR POLICE MAGISTRATE: tta 1ph E. Gould - 319 votes FOR LIBRARY DIRECTORS: Bertha Ehard - 314 votes Edmund H. Cleven - 307 " It was moved bk Trustee Kirchhoff, seconded by Trustee Mott thet the following be declared elected to the office opposite their respective names: Maurice B. Cleven There being no further business to come before this meeting, it was moved by Trustee wax and seconded by Trustee Haas that the meeting be ad- journed. 1
