PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, ON THE 30TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1945 A.D. President Pendleton called the meeting to order at 8:30 P.M. The roll being called the following Trustees responded: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax and Welsh. Trustees Hartwig and Lams were absent. The Clerk then read the following communication from the President: 483 Mr. Roy E. Schlemmer Village Clerk Mt. Prospect, I11. Dear Mr. Schlemmer: Will you please call a special meeting of the Village Board Tuesday night, October 30th, at 8:30 p.m.? The purpose of this meeting is to act on the applicatbn and special assessments for paving in Hillcrest Subdivision and other streets, and any zoning matters that may come be- fore the Board. Also, to act on the approval of a plat for Prospect Heights Manor, and for any other business that may properly come before the Board. • Very truly yours, (Signed) M. B. Pendleton M. B. Pendleton, Pres. Village of Mt. Prospect An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, FOR THE EN- SUING YEAR" was read. It was moved by Trustee Welsh, seconded by Trustee Mott that said ordinance be passed. Ayes: Kirchhoff, Mott, Wax, and Welsh. No nayes. Mr. James Lawrence representing The Superior Home Builders requested of the Board that the necessary legal proceedings be instituted to spread of record a special assessment warrant for the p urpose of installing streets in the subdivision known as "Hill Crest', and presented an esti- mate of -the cost for construction of these streets for the Board's con- sideration. After discussion as to the type of streets to be constructed, the matter was referred to the Board of Local Improvements for their recommendation. * Mr. Edward Herman presented a tentative plat of "Prospect Heights Manor" Unit No. 2 for the Board's approval. A motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded by Trustee Wax that the tentative plat entitled"Pros- pect Heights Manor" Unit No. 2, a subdivision of the West one -half of the Northeast quarter, Section 27, Township 42 North, Range -11 -East, Cook County, Illinois, except the North one -half of the Northwest one - quarter thereof, be referred to the Plan Commission, and that all former plats 1 with respect to the same property, if any, be withdrawn from consider- ation at the request of the owners. Motion carried. The following letter was then read: President and Board of Trustees Mt. Prospect, Illinois Gentlemen: We submit herewith for your approval two copies of plans and specifications for water mains in Lonnquist Gardens. There being no.ferther business to come before this meeting, it was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Kirchhoff that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
