PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD
IN THE VILLAGE HALL, MT. PROSPECT,
ILLINOIS, ON THE 27TH DAY OF MARCH,
1946 A.D.
The meeting was called to order by the President at 8:00 P.M. The roll
being called, the following Trustees Hartwig, Mott, Wax and Welsh.
Trustees Kirchhoff and Lams were absent.
The Clerk then read the following communication:

Mt. Prospect, I11.
Dear Mr. Schlemmer:
Please call a special meeting of the Village Board of
Trustees to be held at the Village hall Wednesday even-
ing, March 27th at eight o'clock P.M., for the purpose
of discussing plans for a new Administration building,
selection of a new Village Treasurer and Collector and
for the conducting of any other business that may
properly come before this meeting.

Board of Trustees
Mr. J. Howland, Vice - president of the Zenith Radio Corp. presented
his company's case regarding the installation of signs on their radio towers.
Mr. Howland was informed that the matter must be taken before the board of
appeals.
A request from Mr. and Mrs. Otto Maleske to erect a two family resi-
dence in a single family residence zone, was referred to the zoning com-
mission on a motion by Trustee Mott and second by Trustee Wax.
A similar request from Mr. Emil Nerge was referred to the Zoning
Commission on a motion by Trustee Wax and second of Trustee Welsh.
• A motion was made by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Hartwig
that the liability of Street Obstruction Bond No. 606502 for Harry E. Turk
in the amount of $10,000. be terminated as of July 2, 1945. Motion carried.
A "RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS P. 10 -46"
was then read. It was moved by Trustee Hartwig, seconded by Trustee Wax that
the resolution be passed. Ayes: Hartwig, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes.
Trustee Mott presented financial data for the fiscal year 1946 -1947
with respect to the total tax levy allowable under the new Butler bills.
President Pendleton asked the Board for suggestions in connection
with'filling vacancy made by the resignation of Fred G. Wille, Village
Treasurer and Collector. After discussion, it was decided to place an ad-
vertisement in the local newspaper.
Trustee Mott then presented the preliminary plans of the new adminis-
tration building. 'After considerable discussion, it was moved by Trustee
Welsh and seconded by Trustee Mott that the meeting be adjourned. Motion
carried.
