The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by President Pendleton. The roll LGing called the following Trustees responded: Hartwig, Las, Mott, Wax and Welsh. Trustee Kirchhoff was absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of September 3rd and the special meeting of September 10th were read and approved on a motion by Trustee Welsh and second of Trustee Wax. Motion carried. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax, and Welsh. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Welsh and seconded by Trustee Wax that the Special Assessment report be placed on file. Motion married. A motion was made by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Welsh that the bills as approved by the Finance Committee be approved for pay- ment. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Hartwig that a Mobile Business License be issued to Mr. E. Worthington. Motion carried. A "RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF ARTERIAL STREETS OR STATE HIGHWAYS BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE MOTOR FUEL TAX LAW" No. 28 -46, was then read. It was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Wax that the - Resolution be passed. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes. A motion was made by Trustee Wax and seconded by Trustee Lams, that Trustee Mott be _authorized to write the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company relative to crossing protection. Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded by Trustee Hart - wig. that Mr. Albert L. Roderick complete the semi - annual audit of the Water Works System ended June 30, 1946 for the amount of $7 Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, 'flax and Welsh. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Hartwig, seconded by Trustee Wax that 1,000 Vehicle Tags be purchased from the Chicago Decalcomania Co. for $65.00. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes. A motion was made by Trustee Wax and seconded. by Trustee Hart- wig that in accordance with the amended water ordinance, the $5.00 deposit be refunded to W. J. Mortimer and Edward Jeanis. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, p•A Mott, }:;fax and Welsh. No nayes. A motion was made by Trustee Welsh and seconded by Trustee Wax that the Attorney be instructed to file appearance and defend the Village in the case of Zenith Radio Corp. versus the Village of Mt. Prospect, Case No. 46 -5- 17505. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes. It was moved by Trustee Lams, seconded by Trustee Welsh that the Village advertise the sale of $145,000. Building Bonds for the lowest re- tn erect rate without premium, returnable on October 29, 1946 at 8:00 P.M.. Ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. No nayes. There being no further business to come before this meeting, it was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Trustee Hartwig that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried. ,�
