MI NUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES',
HELD IN TEE VILLAGE HALL, MOUNT PROS -
PECT, ILLINOIS, ON THE 29TH DAY OF
OCTOBER, 19L6 A.D. •
The meeting was called to order at 8 :10 P.M. by President
Pendleton. The roll was called and the following Trustees respond-
ed: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, Wax and Welsh. Trustee Kirchhoff was absent.
The following communication was then read:

Village of Mt. Prospect,

Dear Mr. Schlemmer:
Will you please call a special meeting of the
Village Board to be held at the Village Hall at
8 :00 o'clock P.M. on Oct. 29, 1946, for the
purpose of opening and considering bids for
bonds for the proposed new municipal adminis-
tration building, and for the transaction of
any other business that may properly be brought
before the Board at that time.

A motion was made by Trustee '.Welsh, seconded by Trustee
Hartwig, that all bids received by the Clerk be opened and read.
Motion carried.
Bids for the purchase of 4145,000. Village of Mount Pros-
pect, Illinois.Municipal Building Bonds were then opened, read and
listed as follows:

A motion was made by Trustee 'Welsh, seconded by Trustee Hartwig that
all certified checks, except those of Halsey, Stuart ?. :'o. and Ferri-
man Ripley & Co. be returned to representatives of the Bond Companies
present. Motion carried.
After discussi:n by the Board, it was moved by Trustee
Welsh and seconded by Trustee Lams that the bid of Harriman Ripley &
Co. be accepted. ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott, `pax and Welsh. No nayes.
A Motion was -made by Trustee Mott, seconded by Truetee
that the certified check of Halsey, Stuart & Co. be returned. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Trustee Mott, seconded by Truetee Wax that
the Village Clerk file a copy of the Municipal Building Bond Ordinance
with the County Clerk. Motion carried.
Trustee Kirchhoff entered the meeting at this time.
Three :-offers fJr printing the :eonds were then read. It was
moved by Truster Tax, and seconded by Trustee Leme that the Coll:} is
Bank Note Company be awarder,. the contract for _rintine the Municipal
Building Bonds at their stipulated prig: of 0110.00, said price being
the lowest offer made. .eyes: Hartwig, Kirchhoff, Lams, Mott, Wax and
Welsh. Ne nayes.
There being not further business to cone before tr.is ,meeting
it was :roved by Trustee 'Wax, seconded by Tr tee Lams that the meeting
be adjourned. Motion carried.
