JF TEL PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES HELD IN TEL VILLAGE
HALL, MOTTNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS,
ON TUESDAY, 'DECEMBER 3rd, 1946.
President Pendleton called the meeting to order at 8:00 o'clock
P.M. The Clerk then called the roll with the following Trustees respond-
ing:- Hartwig, Lams. Mott, Wax and Welsh. Trustee Kirchhoff was absent.
Minutes of the regular meeting of Nev. 5th, adjourned meeting of
Nov. 6th, and the special meeting on Nov. 21st were then read. The
motion was made by Trustee Hartwig and seconded by Vielsh that the minutes
be approved. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried and said minutes approved.
The Clerk read the Treasurer's report for the period ending
November 30, 1946. The motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded
by !:'ax that the Treasurer's report be approved as read and placed on
file. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll
with the following result: Ayes: A11; Naye: None. Thereupon the
President declared the ;notion carried and said report approved.
A motion was made by Trustee Welsh, seconded by Wax that the
Special Assessment report be placed on file. The motion was voted upon
by acclamation and the President declared the motion carried.
U., It was moved by Trustee Mott =end seconded by Welsh that the
bills as approved by the Finance Committee, be approved for payment.
The President put the question uid the Clerk called the roll with the
following result: Ayes: All; Nays: None. The President thereupon de-
clared the motion carried and said bills approved for payment.

Trustee Mott moved end Hartwig seconded a motion that the
Chicago Federation of Aged and Adult Charities be given permission to
hold their annual tag day in the 'tillage on Tuesday, May 13, 1947. The
motion was voted upon by acclamation and the President declared the
motion carried and said permit granted.

The Clerk reported that the petition of Stella C. Willson for
disconnecting Lot 18 of the Northwest Hills Country Club Subdivision
had been on file for thirty days and that no certificate of tax search
by the County Clerk had been filed with said petition. The motion was
made by Trustee ',`:ax and seconded by Welsh that the petition of Stella
C. ','Willson for disconnection be deferred until the next regular meet-
ing. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
A Resolution entitled "2E::)LTJTION GRANTING PROSPLCT H 'IGHTS
HIRE DEPARTMENT DISTRICT 'R FDR FIRE PURP)SES" No. 34 -46 was then
read. The motion was made by Trustee Wax. seconded by Mott that the
Resolution be adopted. The President put the question and the Clerk
called the roil with the following result: Ayes: All; Nays; None.
Thereupon the President declared the motion carried Ind said Resolution
adopted.
Trustee Mott reported that the final plans and specifications
for the new i.unipal Euilding had been anoroved by the Building Com-
mittee and representatives of the Municipal Departments which were to
occupy said building. After discussion the motion was made by Trustee
Mott and seconded by 'Sax that the plans and specifications of the new
Municipal Euilding as submitted by Consoer, Townsend and Associates, be
approved. The President put the ;uestion and the Clerk called the roll
with the following result: Ayes: All; Nays: None. 'thereupon the Pres-
ident declared the notion passed and said clans and specifications an-
proved.

Trustee Mott moved and La::s seconded that the Clerk be author-
ized to advertise for bids to construct the New ,Municipal T said
bids to be returnable on or before Tuesday, January 14, 1947 at 8 :00
o'clock F.M. The me tier was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried and the Clerk so authorized.

A motion was made by Trustee Mott i. seconded by Hartwig that the
Public Parks c3::d building Committee be authorized to purchase wreaths in
the amount Sf ;,i2f.SO. The President put the question and the Clerk called
the roll with the following result: :ayes: Hartwig, Lams, Mott and Wax.
Nays: ''.'Welsh. ':.hereupon the President declared the motion carried and said

A "RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE TER LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS" No.
36 -46 was then read. Trustee `;Welsh moved and Mott seconded that the
Resolution be adopted. The question was out by the President and the Clerk
cailcd the roll with the following result; Ayes: all; Nays: None. There-
upon the President declared thy- notion carried and said Resolution adopted.
A letter from Henry E. Steele, attorney, requesting the foreclosure
of the lien of certain special assessments was then read. President Pendle-
ton referred the re?uest to the Judiciary Committee for consideration and
report.

37 -46 was read. The motion was made by Trustee ';Welsh and seconded by Hart-
wig that the resolution'be adopted. The President put the luestion and
the Clerk called the roll with the following result: Ayes: A11; Nays: None.
The President declared the motion carried and said Resolution adopted.
The Clerk read "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20 OF AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND .1uN ORDII t NCE ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING, REGULATING AND
RESTRICTING TIIE LOCATION OF TRADES AlJ I1DUSTRIES AND TEL LOCATION OF
BUILDINGS DESIGNED FOR SPECIFIED USES; REGULATING AND LIMITINTG :H:: HEIGHT
AND EcULK OF EUILDINGS HEREAFTER ERECTED OR ALTERED, REGULATING AND LI MIT-

by Lams that the Ordinance be passed. The question was put by the Pres-
ident and the Clerk called the roll with the following result: ryes:
Hartwig, Lams, Wax and Welsh. Nays: Mott. Thereupon the President declared
the motion carried and said Ordinance passed and approved.
The motion was made by Trustee Welsh, seconded by Lams, that the
Clerk be authorized to publish said Ordinance in the Mt. Prospect Herald.
The President put Ahe question and the Clerk called the roll with the follow-
ing result: Ayes: All; Nays: None. The President declared the motion car-
ried and the Clerk so authorized.
Trustee Mott moved and Wax seconded that in accordance with the
amended water ordinance, the $5.O0 deposit be refunded to D. M. Mills. The
question was put by the President and the Clerk called the roll with the
following result: Ayes: Ails; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared
the motion carried and said deposit refunded.
The motion was made by Trustee Mott and seconded by Welsh that the f" """j
meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon
the President declared the motion carried and the meeting regularly adjourn-
ed.
