X. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 26-99, 820 E. Rand Road, Taco BelI/KFC
The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use and variations for the establishment
of a fast food restaurant with drive-through service. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended approval, with specific conditions, by a vote of 5-0.
B. ZBA 36-99, 1108 S. Robert Drive
The petitioner has requested an appeal before the Village Board, for the approval
of a second story addition which will encroach four feet (4') into the front yard
setback at the above residence. The Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
denial of this request by a vote of 5-0.
C. ZBA 35-99, 1712 Martha Lane
The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use and Variations to allow the
construction of a 720 sq. foot, three-car garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals
has recommended denial of this request by a vote of 4-1.
D. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (IHDA) FOR A GRANT FOR THE
SINGLE FAMILY OWNER-OCCUPIED REHABILITATION PROGRAM (Exhibit A)
This resolution authorizes the Village to enter into an agreement with IHDA
for receipt of a $132,000 grant enabling the Village to make rehab loans to
Iow-income single family homeowners.
E. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF CERTAIN PERSONAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit B)
This ordinance authorizes the donation of equipment, used by the
Television Services division, to Mount Prospect school districts; any
unclaimed property will be auctioned on the worldwide web.
F. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF CERTAIN PERSONAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit C)
This ordinance authorizes the Village to sell equipment, used by the Television
Services division, at the May 20,2000 public sale at the Public Works Facility.
G. A RESOLUTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE
ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (Exhibit D)
This resolution appropriates $1,000,000 for the year 2000 street resurfacing
program at various locations throughout the Village.
H. A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE (Exhibit E)
This resolution appropriates $434,520 from Motor Fuel Tax Funds for
general maintenance operations in the Village.
I. Request for Village Board approval and acceptance of private improvements
at Borders Bookstore, 909 N. Elmhurst Road (Randhurst).
