MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, HELD IN THE VILLAGE
HALL, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 1948
The meeting was called to order by P resident
Pendleton at 12:01 A.M. The Clerk called the roll and the
following Trustees responded: Bayne, Bydal, Hartwig, Lams,
Mott, and Welsh.
The Clerk then read a letter dated September 14,
1948 from L. R. Murphy, Supt. of Mount Prospect Public
School, commending some of the Village employees for their
wonderful co- operation.
A motion was made by Trustee Lams, seconded by
Bayne, to concur in President Pendleton's appointment of
the following citizen's to form the Citizen's Safety Com-
mittee: H. J. Jebens, Mrs. James Wax, Robert Quinn,
Frederick Rueckert, Rudolph Stoelk, Fred B. Haas, Gorden
Teach, Chief Geo. Wittenberg, Trustee Theo. Lams, Ex
Officio. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, where-
upon the President declared the motion carried.
The motion was then made by Trustee Lams,
seconded by Welsh, that the Village Board of Trustees
convene for a special meeting at 8:00 P.M. Thursday
October 21, 1948. The motion was voted upon by accla-
mation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried
and special meeting so ordered.

A motion was then made by Trustee Hartwig
seconded by Bydal, that the meeting be adjourned.
The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon
the President declared the motion carried and the
meeting regularly adjourned.
