The Closed Session was called to order at 9:11 p.m., by Mayor Farley, in the Boardroom of the
Central Community Center, 1000 West Central Road. The purpose of the Closed Session was to
discuss Property Acquisition and Litigation. Present were: Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert,
Richard Lohrstorfer, Michaele Skowron, Irvana Wilks and Michael Zadel. Staff present included:
Village Manager Michael Janonis, Assistant Village Manager David Strahl and Community
Development Director William Cooney along with Kevin Kemp from DLK and Bruce Adreani from
Norwood.
Property Acquisition
Village Hall —100 South Emerson
Village Manager Janonis stated that Norwood had paid for an option on the Village Hall property at
the time the Village Hall project began. Norwood has been working with DLK in an effort to put
together a design that would be reflective of the downtown.
Kevin Kemp stated he has been working on a design that would be no taller than the Village Hall and ;
include a retail level on the first floor with an emphasis on the horizontal lines of the building.
General discussion of the Village Board members included the following items: Q
There was discussion regarding different unit types as to the appropriate mix and setback of the a
structure on the property. Q 0
Consensus of the Village Board was to ask for additional views including a scale model
review and the optional view of a four -story structure with one floor setback.
Bill Cooney, Kevin Kemp and Bruce Adreani left at 10:10 p.m.

Lancaster Vacation
The Village Board directed staff to seek value for property at the time of the Vacation.
