MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDING, MOUNT hROSFECT, ILLINOIS
ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 1950
The meeting was called to order by President
Pendleton at 8:05 P.M. and the Clerk was then directed
to call the roll. On roll call the following Trustees

answered "Present." Bayne, Bydal, Hartwig, Lams, Mott,
and Stoelk.
The Clerk then read the minutes of the
regular meeting held December 13, 1949. A motion
was made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Stoelk, that
the minutes be approved as read. The President put
the auestion and the Clerk called the roll with the
following results: Ayes: All; NOys: None. Thereupon
the President declared the motion carried and said
minutes approved.
The Clerk then read a letter; dated January
•r 7rd from L.W. Harris, attorney for Mrs. Jennie Grimm;
ti regarding petition for rezoning lots 205, 206, 207
in Laudermilk Villa.
letter, dated December 27, 1949 together
with a Resolution from the Board of Education, School f
Dist. No. 57, protesting against the rroposed rezoning
of lots 205, 206, and 207 in Loudermilk Villa was then
read along with a protest dated December 70, 1949 by
Trustees of Schools of Township 41. N., Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois.
The meeting was then recessed at 8:30 P.M.
and reconvened at P :45 P.M.
U- n motion was then mode by Trustee Bayne,
seconded by Bydal, to accent the objections of School.
Trustees of Townships 41 Norte Hnnpe 11. East of the
Trird Frincira1 Meridian as being in conformity with
the Village Zoning Ordinance renuirements. The Presi-
dent rut the nuestion and the Clerk called the roll with
the following rePtal ±s: Aver: Trustees: Bayne, Bvdel,
Hartwig, Lams, Mott, and Stoelk; Nays: None. There -
uron the President declared the motion carried.
The Clerk then read in full nn ordinance
entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING- ORDINANCE AS AMENDED."
A .motion was made by Trustee Lams, seconded
by Bvdei, that the Ordinance be Passed. The President
rut the nuestion and the Clerk ealled the roll with the
J f'ollowir.p results: Ayes: None; Nays Trustees; Bavne,
Bvdal, Hertzgig, Lams, Mott, and Stoelk. Thereupon the
President declared the motion defeated and ordinance
not ra ssed .
The Clerk then read n letter, dated December 21,
from the South Church thanking the Village Board for the
refund of building x,ermi.t fee and for the authorized use
of facilities of the Municiral Building for temrorary
Church and Sunday School rurroses while Church alterations
are being eomrleted.
li letter, dated December 19, 1949 from General
Services Administration, Bureau of Community rscilities
was then_ read. This eomr+unicntion was referred to the
Village Engineers:

This correspondence was referred to the
Judiciary Committee for their study.
A motion was made by Trustee Hartwig, seconded
by Stoelk, that the proposed agreement between Feeanville
Drainage Dist. and Rand Building Corp. for the extension
of storm sewer system be referred to the Judiciary
Committee for their study and recommendations. The
motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried.
There being no further business to come
before the meeting a motion was made by Trustee Hart -
wig, seconded by Bydal, that the meeting he adjourned.
The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon
the President declared the r:otion carried and the
meeting regularly adjourned.
