MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, 1951
The meeting was called to order by President
Pendleton at 8:10 P.M. and the Clerk was then directed to
call the roll.
On roll call the following Trustees answered 0.41►
"Present:" Bydal, Lams, Mott, and Walker. Trustees
Bayne and Hartwig were absent on roll call.
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular
meeting held December 12, 1950. A motion was trade by
Trustee Walker, seconded by Lams, that the minutes be
approved as read. The President put the euestion and the
Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes:
All: Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the
motion carried and said minutes approved.

The Clerk then read a letter dated December
21. from Village Fost Master Besander regarding the
numbering of houses in the Village. This letter wFWs
referred to the Building Committee.
Trustee Bayne arrived at 9:18 P.M. and took
his place.
The Clerk then read a letter dated December 26
from S.B. Geiger and Company regarding the pumping
unit for number 4 well.
The Clerk also read parts of a letter, dated
December 28, from the Village Attorney interpreting
various sections of the contract between the S.b. Geiger
46,„, Company and the Village for the Number 4 well.
Mr. Faulkman of Consoer, Townsend and Associates
who was present at the Board Meeting, was requested by
the Board to obtain from S. B. Geiger and company
confirmation of their order for replacement of equipment
for number 4 pumping unit; also to advise a.B. Geiger
and Company that the Village Trustees do not feel that
the pump at number 4 well should be pulled until new
equipment is actually on the way for the job.
A motion was made by Trustee Lams seconded by
U- to to instruct the Village Clerk to write a letter
to the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois
authori7ing changes to the street lights around the new
shopping district, as suggested by the engineer from
the Public Service Company. The President put the
question and the Clerk called the roll with the following
results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President
declared the motion carried.
The Clerk then read a letter dated December 27
from Arthur T. McIntosh and Company regarding preliminary
omft subdivision plan of Northwest Meadows. This letter and
plan were referred to the Judiciary Committee for their
study.
The Clerk then read Summons Iao. 50C11164, Circuit
Court of. Cook County. A motion was made by Trustee Bayne
seconded by Lards, that the Village Attorney be authorized
to file an appearance and take necessary stens to protect
the Village. The motion was voted up on by acclamation
whereupon the President declared the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting, there was a motion by Trustee Bayne, seconded
by Bydal, that the meetinn be adjourned. The motion was
voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President
declared the motion carried and meeting regularly adjourned.
